Remarks

tech fest named bodhi, arts fest named drishya are the major events conducted in the College. There ia also sports meet conducted in the College. The technical fest is the most inresting event of all. Its good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Good curriculum. Kerala trchnonlogical university conductes the university exams. Therecis 8 semester in Btech. Each semester has university, lab exams and internal exams. Its good ti study in this College.

Placement Experience

The College doesnot provide any internships. The palcement opportunity for civil engineering, mechanical engineering is very less compared to other branches. There is no stipend for students. Infosys is a mojor company that comes for placement drives.

Fee Structure And Facilities

78000 is the fees per year for btech its less feasible fess to study. The management has reduced the fee for the junior batches upto 60000. Its is less feasible for a family to pay this much fees for studying.

Yes, Scholarship facility is availed in our College according to mwrit cum basis. Majority of scholarships are based on annual income of the family. These scholarship are for the students who are fron a family having annual income of 6lakhs and less.

Yes I have opted the hostel. The hostel fees is also huge. The food is not good, and they are charging a good amount for food that is 130 per day. Students from middile class family find it harder to pay the bills

Alumini is working good. There are meetsings often. The seniors are almost happie with the alumini meeeting. Alumini is not that much active but its good some what. Alumni helps in studys of us also. many alumninis takes classes for us.

Admission

Got adimissom through KEAM alotment process. Which is conducted by Kerala government. Thre allotment is acvording to the ranks of the students. Civil engineering is one of the intresting coursescun this College.

Techers help the the student's to learn in an easy wqy the help the weaker students in achieving great marks. Projects abd assignemnts are provided fir students for better learning. Teachers are also coperative in heloing doing project

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I applied for 4 college include the current one they were : 1)SRM , Chennai 2)M.A.C.E, Kothamangalam 3)MITS , Varikoli 4)V.J.C.E.T, Vazhakulam From these 4 colleges I was rejected by MA college and MITS. I think my KEAM score was too low to make it there . I got a seat at SRM for Electronics and Communication Engineering but was not financialy able enought to afford it. As I was applied for 2engineering colleges and 1 arts and science college. The name of the engineering colleges is 1)viswajyothi college of engineering and technology vazhakulam(Ernakulam) 2)Rajagiri school of engineering and technology (Ernakulam). And third arts and science college name is Amritha vidhya college (Ernakulam). I didn't get any rejections from these colleges but compared to these three colleges I chose viswajyothi college of engineering and technology vazhakulam Ernakulam because there I got my admission according to my JEE score and for less management fees.
