Remarks

Study wise it is good and Faculties are best but they don’t provide money or any help for attending seminars as per rules only application is approvals but later they don’t credit any money to our account after going several times

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen Water Resources Engineering Engineering course as i have graduation in Civil Engineering. For research work the faculties and guides are very much co-operative. I have chilled everytime in the labs.

Placement Experience

For bachelor degree students placement and job opportunities are huge but for master degree and doctorate job opportunities are very few. It doesn’t provide internship but helps the students to get the internship.

College Events

Technical seminars, Yearly Culture program, Welcome ceremony, Farewell Ceremony and in College festival every time a huge star from Bollywood industries like Nikita Gandhi, Badsha, Rahul vaidya ramp walk dance festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for every stream in Bachelor degree is the same but for the master degree, it varies with that respective subjects and for a doctorate, it is also the same. Basically it depends upon the Govt of Odisha.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students can get Scholarships with the medhabruti scheme and there are other 1-2 schemes are here also. Students can get loan facilities also. For SC/ST students there are Scholarships and loan faculties better.

Campus Life

Girls are very active in all the games and events. Students go for social works. Every day they practice music dorm and different kinds of musical instruments. Play football volleyball Cricket badminton and different games also. They go for inter College tournament and organise it also for girls and boys

Alumni/Alumna

Honestly, my seniors were like my friends and Till now I haven’t got some money back from College and about Alumni Neither they text us nor informed us about it. Came to know that College has organized an alumni function.

Admission

Through Odisha Joint Entrance Exam and GATE. only a few good rank holders are selected. No Interviews are required for mtech and btech but Doctorate Interviews are required. Go to odishajee website and apply online for the entrance exam.

Faculty

Faculties in our College are highly Qualified and everyone holds a doctorate with their respective subjects and they are best in knowledge and very much cooperative and always ready to help the students.

Placemants are start from january. All mtech 1st year 1st semister completed students are elgible based on CGPA. Some Companies ask more than 7cgpa. For my department Nvidia, Qualcomm, Intel, Texas,NXP semiconductiors, anolag devices, Media teck,Synapse design,sienens, etc.,

A wholesome experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are starting from like 6LPA. 6LPA is the starting placement, which is pretty good when you get to see the competition around. It can go upto like 50LPA, last year Microsoft took 3 students by offering them 48LPA. But you have to get skills to get hired.

The college has a very good record for placements packages and the college is able to reach the 100% placement record. The college committee is responsible for it as the college committee is full of responsible and professional members. the properly take feedback from us and are able to invite good companies. The highest package for the batch was around 44 LPA and the average package was approx 15 LPA. Around 85+ companies visited our campus for the college placement drive.

Placement Experience:

The college has a good placement record and especially for CSE. The college has a 100% placement record. The college placement committee is helpful and guides us during the college placement drive and they really provide some tips and tricks to clear the placement rounds. The highest package for our batch was around 40 LPA and the average package was approx 15 LPA which really very good. The college gives us a good return on investment. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Mindtree, Infosys, IBM, TCS, Google, Infosys, etc participate in the college placement drive.

Filling out the company's form and completing a brief task demonstrating your knowledge in learning and academics was the placement method. The paperwork is then submitted and read by them, after which they conduct an interview with you, asking you a few questions about your studies and assessing your sense of humour and personality development. Later, we receive our confirmation of entering the job by email. Several other companies that you chose and rejected also make new offers to entice you to join the department.

Entrance Preview:

I cracked GATE-2012 with 98.70 %. I got a good rank with the help of which I landed into NIT Rourkela. NIT Rourkela is completely different institute then other in terms of research and patent. I opted this college is located in North side of India and very awesome in terms of simply living lifestyle.

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple. I did apply for VSSUT Burla but could not clear the cutoff. Also i would like to add on this that i did a better job in choosing the seat here . No i was not rejected rather i was alloted this seat through OJEE, one needs to attempt JEE score well clear cutoffs then applybforvOJEE councelling and wait the rounds. I did apply for Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla and Indira Gandhi Technology, Sarang but i preferred this college just because of its location in town Bhubaneswar. I didn't get rejected basically it was a councelling process in which i got alloted a seat in this college.
