Review of Martin Luther Christian University

Overall, the College provides a unique experience of learning and although it may be a hectic and a tough time for some students to go through, after all is done, they're sure to learn a lot. My experience has been good so far with nothing to complain about any specific reasons.

The course I'm undertaking is quite a hectic one as the grading process is quite different from other Colleges/Universities. Here, instead of appearing for mid semester exam or finals, we are graded on basis of regular evaluation which can be through a written test, a Viva questioning, presentation of specific topics, Assignments, our attendance, etc. Because of such, it can be hectic at times.

Our College doesn't provide placement after our graduation, but the internship is a required task which must be duly completed to order to obtain our certificate and clearance. It can last from upto 6 months - 1 year and it depends where we actually want to do it.

Our College does hold annual events and functions on different times of the year. The event can range from cultural celebration to different sports and games session to showcase and revive different talents and passion of the students. In terms of it's size, it is usually just within the College with different departments competing against each other.

The fee structure greatly depends on the course you're opting for. It can be anywhere from affordable to quite a sum of money. As for the course I'm undertaking, the current fees are ?44, 000 per semester which can be paid in two installments.

There is a College funded scholarship which can be availed through a set of interviews and forms. However, I think it can only be applied for after completing one year in any particular course. As for any loan schemes, I have not heard of any.

There are quite a lot of extracurricular activities involved and it almost all depends on the course itself. Students from tourism and other departments which mostly focuses on interactive process conducts frequent trips and excursion to different places. The College also conducts frequent workshops on different topics throughout the yeah which is attended by all the departments.

The College has a good network of alumni students. They also conduct annual gathering of many alumni who come together once a year to share their experiences and have fun. The students also have a good working relationship with the staffs even after their graduation and leaving.

Admission process was quite an easy task owing to the basis of first come first. I just had to know the dates of admissions and be there for the admission process in the campus. After this, fees are paid for the admission and you're ready to go.

The general impression of the faculties of our College is upto the standard I would say. Some of the professors and teachers had been teaching for a long time and they know their fields well. I also learned a lot from them talking about their experiences and through their frequent workshops on different societal issues and problems.
