Remarks

If you're looking for a College with best features, good infrastructure and Excellent faculty and you're residents of Bihar/Jharkhand/Odisha you can come here and you'll never regret your decision. Altogether this is the best College of both the states(Bihar and Jharkhand)

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The pattern of the curriculum has changed this year and that was done basically to omit the rubbish in the syllabus, ENGLISH HONS don't have anything to do with research but it take a lot of mind and thought to understand the references and that too was made effortless and flawless with the help of teaching faculty with great intellect and experience.

Placement Experience

1.5

As it a graduation College, the students doesn't get placed directly from here but talking about stipends, the needy students get that and by needy I mean a student who is a SC/ST and poor, unlike B. TECH Colleges no companies come to our College as per my knowledge.

College Events

4.5

St. Xavier's College celebrates various events, out of which XAVIER UTSAV is frequent that is celebrated every year in the month of FEB, excluding that many regional and national festivals are also celebrated. St. Xavier College is basically working to protect regional festivals and culture of adivasis and jharkhand tribals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee is neither cheap nor very expensive, a middle class can bear the charges with ease, the fee depends upon the subject you choose and can range upto 25k-1. 5k per year and all the annual amount is to be paid at the start of the SEM(1/3/5).

Fees and Financial Aid

The students don't get loan facility as per my knowledge but they get their money back if they fulfil the criterie of being a SC/ST and poor, they get almost all the money back, but the College is so reputed any bank will give you a student loan.

Campus Life

4.5

The College is good in extracurricular activities the campus has Basketball, hockey, vollyball and football field in it's campus and owe a auditorium and a big parking space that can be modified to make space for activites like Dancing and other group performances.

Alumni/Alumna

I have witnessed the best College seniors they are way to helpful and supportive for us, they behave like our friends and five us the best advice. I have not interacted to any Alumni yet, but the College has various working committee to guide students.

Admission

The entrance exam was the only way to get in this College. The registration was done on it's official website and all the students had to face a MCQ test whose result (first merit list) was published a week after and admissions were on, like wise second merit list was published with a deadline of admission and I landed into this great College.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty altogether is doing a great job for the students to make us understand both the syllabus and the use in day to day life. But nothing is flawless, not every teacher is good at his work but the work is compensated with the efforts of other, altogether our College is best in terms of faculty from other Colleges where teachers do everything except from teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially, I chose English Honours because I thought it would be a very easy subject. However, once I took admission and started studying it, I realized how deep and theoretical it is. When I read about the poets, their life stories, and the era they lived in, I became deeply fascinated. My interest in the subject kept growing, and that is why I chose this field."My English and vocabulary have also become much stronger after taking English Honours. I am truly grateful for this."The existing teaching methodology was effective and satisfactory; therefore, no modifications were necessary."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum can be related a fairly relevant and mandatory comprehensive. While it covers the fundamental concepts required for the subject there is still scope for including more practical, skill oriented and industry focused content. Updating the curriculum regularly with current trends and real world applications would make it even more effective and beneficial for student
