Remarks

Positive Comments. -A very old(we r the 50th batch) College - Experienced Faculties -A lot of Patients ( infact 2 other government hospitals here also comes under our Management, dut to some contract with th government, it includes the Davangere district hospital too, which is a tertiary care Center,. So patients are plenty. -Not over strict -Nobody cares abt what we r doing. -Davangere is a peaceful city, less expensive Negatives. -No Major Negatives -Study Well or You ll fail in Exams(RGUhS is a lil bit difficult).

Campus Life

3.5

Girls are Majority in almost all Batches. ALMOST 2/3 are girls. Student parties are a common seen. Workshops may be conducted. Students Union and their activities are good. Their ll b cultural programme associated with almost all Medium to Major programs conducted in College. Students from almost all over india studies here, South, North and Even northeast and even foreigners (mostly Malaysians).

Alumni/Alumna

Sadly, there is no proper alumni coordination in our College. I have never seen any alumni doing a get together or anything in my 4. 5 yrs here. But the Seniors who are studying in there at the time were really helpful for all of us whether it is in case of exams or bunking classes.

Admission

I got admission in the College via Comed-k entrance examination, which is the entrance to 40% seats which are partial merit seats and open to students across India, the other 40% are filled via CKET(only for Karnatakites) which is the government of Karnataka entrance examination. The other 20% goes for Management and NRI in which fee are variable and hectic.

Faculty

4.5

Some of the best faculty available in Karnataka. Almost all year faculties are good or someone perfect ll be there to clear your doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.

There is no such special curriculum just i want to be a doctor so i chosed mbbs. It's a very good curriculum as we have both book knowledge and practical knowledge at same time as we have to go hospital in morning to see cases qnd at evening to learn about it. There is no such improvement is required. We don't have to give soo much exam but the syllabus we have to cover its not much

Course Curriculum Overview:

Same curriculum as the NMC is followed . In the beginning ears there wont be much exposure clinically like any other hospitals later on in 3rd amd 4th year there is more clinical exposure and patient interaction. According to me the exam level of 1st year is a bit tough as it is a changing phase from 12th to college and everything is new later on we get adjusted and find it easy and will understand how to phase the exam and how it is different from the previous exams of 11th or 12th . Only one exam will be for a academic year which includes the whole syllabus of that year
