The VKCET Alumni Association was formed in 2014, with a view to keep the silken threads of the attachments between the old students and their Alma mater.The chapters of VKCET Alumni Association are functioning in many parts of the INDIA. The kerala universities conduct state- wise entrance exams for the candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with aggregate 65 percentile. After the declaration of results, a counseling session is conducted for the candidates to choose the colleges according to their ranks in entrance examinations. The verification of documents takes place for the admission process and to check the fair conduct of student’s declarations. After the above process, a prescribed fee is deposited to confirm the admission from the students

The minimum qualification required to obtain a post as a lecturer or assistant proffesor is M.tech with a minimum score of Sixty percentile.Nowadays with demand being short candidaes who have qualified NET( National eligibility test) over the minimum requirements are given higher preference.
