Remarks

No negative remarks. Many positive remarks are there. Principal is too good, he is so supportive. and encourage us to do good in our exams. Motivate us. And when I speak about overall college. I would rate It 5 stars. Such a good college in dakshina kannada providing good education and knowledge making a good citizens of INDIA. Well disciplined students is such a great achievement. and our college is NAAC accredited.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen BE, still in 1st year. 3 internals exams will be conducted. If u are eligible then u can write external exam. It is semester wise. And iam seeing my seniors getting placed in good companies. mnay companies are visiting the college to hire some students. Our college has placement faculties who train us for the interview.

Placement Experience

Placements are high and large number of students are being placed from our college. 100+ companies are visiting our college and almost all of seniors are getting placed in reputated companies. Some companies like infosys, Amazon, and many more are providingthe good offers. And iam observing my seniors. They are getting placed with high salary. Internship will be there in 7th semester. Many companies invite us for the internship.

College Events

Many events will be conducted in pur college. Biggest event is ENVISION. Which will be conducted for 2 days. 1st day other colleges will also be invited. Cultural programs will be conducted. Many games will be played. Next is college day this will be conducted for 2days. 1st day in karnataka style and 2nd in Kerala style. Sports meet will be conducted for 1 day. And abhiyana is programmed for 1st year students and pratibha for others.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible fee structure. We have same fees as we have to pay CET fee of 69000-72000 then college fee will be 24000-30000. It is reasonable fee because our college provides good education and knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes loans will be provided. During admissions they give a form to apply for educational loan. Which will be paid to the college as our fee. We should clear the fee after our graduation. And I don't know much about scholarship.

Campus Life

As I have mentioned above. Many fests will be conducted. Sports day will be conducted for 1 day. and daily morning and evening workouts will be going on for sports team for other sports events like vtu sports, dussera sports and our sports team participate in many marathon run and cross country runs. Labs are too gud. Well equiped. Practical knowledge provided is too good

Hostel Facilities

No. I didn't opted hostel. But I have visited it and my friends rooms. Iam staying in PG nizam paradise. It is good. Many PG's are available in this area. PG cost is 4800/month-5000/month. It includes all the charges like rent, food charge, electricity bill, water bill, etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very good, friendly with us, they are more then a brother and sister. Ragging is not there. Seniors guide us what to do and how to be discipline. And they say us about the next exams and events and also about teachers which help us to be prepared earlier. Seniors encourage us to do more and more.

Admission

My aim was to be an engineer, and I wanted to study in dakshin kannada district. When I was searching for a good college I contacted some students or seniors and got to know that this college is good for me. Even it encourages for sports which attracted me more.

Faculty

Teachers are too good, they are friendly and supportive. They encourage us in all aspects, not only studies but also sports, cultural activities and many more. They are available to us when we are in need. They make our learning more easier and fun. I believe that fun with learn is best education. So overall teachers are awesome.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
