Remarks

Finally our college is a pretty good one. Its a good competitor for remaining medical colleges across the state. I'm very fortunate to have an admission there. Our college have a very good history and the alumni are also very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Very well and important curriculum. A compulsory curriculum to make us a better doctor. Theory and practical attendence is compulsory. Small group discussions ans seminars are also a part of it. Even sports and games are must for an MBBS student there. our college is a lovely and perfect one

Placement Experience

4.5

There is a hospital affiliated to our college. That is Government General Hospital, Kakinada. where we work as a medical officer. We are very excited to practice our profession in a clean environment.

College Events

4

There are many events that would be celebrated in our college. Freshers day Sports meet College day Christmas New year And many more events to be done. And every festival would be celebrated in a very grand way. We have an auditorium where we will celebrate everything.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Actually a bit expensive. though our government gives us many scholarships. our daily needs are a bit high in that new town for poor families like ours. But studying this course will make my career brighter. So I love studying here.

Fees and Financial Aid

Ha I have got government scholarship by jnnanabhumi. I don't know much scholarships but vasathi hostel scholarship is also available. To selected hostlers, our college is reducing fees. government is planning one more scholarship to hostel students.

Campus Life

3.5

Sports is mandatory for us to relieve from mental stress by studies. We have almost all sports available in our college. Kabaddi Badminton Volleyball Ball badminton Tennis Basketball Football Cricket Throwball. All these are available here and every student is supposed to involve in atleast one sport available.

Hostel Facilities

4

Infrastructure is not so bad. Our rooms are good. We have reading rooms, recreation rooms, Playground at our hostel. we're 3 in a room which is not so small but not that large, a typical medium sized room but we have some drinking water scarcity there. I wish there would be more water filters in our hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Very helpful seniors without whom our exams would be failures. They will guide us inany ways. exams and discipline. We will learn from seniors how should we behave before professors and in hospital wards.

Admission

I've secured a rank in NEET UG exam, Which is criteria for admission in MBBS. Then our state council made a web counselling. Then they have prepared a merit list and collected all our certificates needed and finally gave an admission.

Faculty

4

A well experienced talented qualified faculty. They doesn't teach us but make us learn on our own. This is a thing i love in my faculty most. and they guide us in practical session and give us a perfection.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually MBBS is structured in such a way that it helps students step by step to learn.. it's anything but perfect .. I am not in a position to suggest but when we are exposed to this vast world in first year which is entirely new to us,it is difficult for us to adjust. We step by step start learning to accommodate in this new world and by the time we adjust and start reading first year comes to and end and then only running,we don't have time to atleast cover our basics so that we can continue for further 3 years.. basics when we aren't aware of we can't confidently go into next years syllabus, but if we try studying basics in the next year we will be again lagging the next year syllabus and cycle goes on.. Mental pressure is the most common that we all feel and for relieving we don't have anything,no cultural activity,no sports,nothing.. that is why many are getting on the wrong side and getting addicted to phone, movies, other addictions

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a dream of lakhs of students in India and I am no different. I worked really hard to get myself enrolled in this prestigious 100-year-old Medical College of India. Student-Teacher Ratio during lectures is around 125:1 and during practicals and small-group Discussions is about 20:1. Faculty in all medical colleges are well qualified as they themselves are doctors first and then a professor. Most of them have done their MD/MS degree from renowned Medical Institutes of India including AIIMS, JIPMER, PGI etc. The teaching method is a bit monotonous during lectures because most of the professors teach passively using a presentation, but real teaching happens in Laboratories and Clinical Postings where we actually see the purpose of our studies. Term Exams are one of the most dreaded things in most medical colleges as they make really tough to test the real understanding of the students in a particular subject. Passing criteria is 50% marks in both Theory & Practicals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I always wanted to be a doctor and this college fulfills that dream. The faculty-student ratio is one to 1:12. In college, The teaching method is of classroom type & have any doubt about a particular topic, then you can directly meet the professor and clarify your doubt. They'll be happy to clarify it. The term exams or conducted in a timely and were slightly difficult to pass, But if you study well, you can pass easily.
