Everything id good in our college our princpal is good our hod is good our teachers are also good and our culture is also good in our college and our friends are very good our culutre is also good in college

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is good now I am in 8th sem every subject is good in this course the exam is done in the right time and the internal exam also done in the right time and every thing is very nice the course is very good

Placement Experience

I complete my Course 1st then I then I go for the national apprentship portal then I gain experiance then I got job. No my doesn't give us internship. I do my internship in my own risk there have no stipend

College Events

There have many event celebrate in our college like saraswati puja Ganesh puja vishwakarma puja and also done every occasion and annual function and annual sports and all type of events are done in my college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are not more expensive the fees of my college is feasible and I deposit them time to time. The subject regd fee is so high but all fees are low and the practical fee also high and every thing is good.

I have not got the scholarship bcoz i am in General bt my friends god scholarship they god min 70000 per year and they donate this for college fees they happy in this price money and it is good for them

There are many labs like civil lab mech.lab Elect. Lab computer lab.there are many spoarts do in this college and they are very intresting and every thing is very good to do we enjoing to do them and they are cool

Hostel Facilities

Yes I opted hostel. The hostel is good not bad bt the food of the hostel is not good if it improve the hostel is awesome every thing is good.good hostel superintendent good waseem every thing is good

Now we are senior in our institute and we also treat the juniors like our small brother and sister and ragging is not allowed in our institute.if they have the prob in any chapter we help them to clear this

The faculty are very good they are study us very clearly they also clear our doubts they are very friendly they are very talented they also treat us like friend they take care of our study they are very good

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

A balanced blend of learning,growth, and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly comprhensive covering core subjects in the first two years and advanced electives like AI,cloud and Data analytics later, which influenced my decision to join. It balances theory with labs and projects,preparing students for real-world applications and higher studies. Exams are held twice a semester plus finals with moderate difficulty. Improvement is needed in making some courses ore practical and updating a few outdated topics.

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

College is surrounded by beautiful nature. 7-8 km from college is Hirakud Dam which is the longest Earthen dam in Asia. The Place Burla which college is located is away from traffic and city chaos and is very peaceful place to roam around for getting peace of mind.

A good university with a good environment. Healthy atmosphere.

Remarks:

KIIT University is a heaven on earth for students. I would suggest. Please do apply for this university if you are interested and you won't regret. The only bad part, it's a private University. And people don't realize it's worth saying it's not a government University so they won't be able to provide jobs. It's a myth. Infrastructure and exposure wise this university is the best.

Entrance Preview:

JEE mains and my score was 145. My percentile was 95 in boards. I chose this college partly because my brother has passed out from same college n partly because it has a good reputation in case of campus placements. Nearly every student is placed from campus only.

Good Internship

first of all to get a seat in any Engineering college you have to give JEE entrance exam and if you get good ranks then you can apply in good college so as I, I got a good rank and I had heard about Sophitorium college, about their faculty their teaching skill, campus and placement, So it was very easy for me to choose the Sophitorium college for my engineering. I have a quota as SC so that also helps me and whoever wants to join this college having any quota can join because during your study period college will give you a stipend. Admission is a simple process you have to only follow the things instructed by the college, minimum marks should be more than 60% in your academic career. I have joined the mechanical branch and this was the turning point of my life, there I have explored my knowledge and gotten to know a lot of new things in engineering.
