Remarks

Overall NTR veterinary College is a very good place to study the noble course of bvsc & ah. Provides good clinical, theoretical knowledge and great experience. Helps students to grow as a whole both in academics and in life as well.

BVSc & AH is a course which includes the study for the doctors of animals i.e. veterinarian. This course is completed in 5.5 years. Includes 18 subjects throughout the course. In the first year 3 subjects are taught - Livestock production & management, Anatomy, Physiology. The exam pattern is 3 internal exams and one final exam.

Placement Experience

4

There is a lot of scope in the veterinary field. So most of the graduated students are either doing post graduation or they are doing practice in the field. There is a internship period of 6 months in the 5.5 Years period. The college will send the final year students in the field for better experience.

College Events

4

There are alot of events celebrated. According to the session , first comes the Fresher's party for the 1st year students organised by the 2nd yr students. Then comes the hostel day in the starting days of October celebrated in front of the hostel. Inter College games ( intra University games) in the month of December. Christmas party. College day celebrations in March.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is a government college so the fees is affordable. 1st yr fees is around 35 thousand rupees. The fees is very less as compared to the facilities provided. There are few other expenses like security fees n mess security fees which is refunded at the end of the year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are different types of scholarships provided. First of all for the state students i.e. students who got admission through EAMCET they will be provided with the state government scholarship each year. The vci quota students get annual scholarship of around 36000 rs. in the 1st year and later this is continued only if the student gets above 7 gpa.

Campus Life

4.5

This college focuses equally on studies and extracurricular activities. The labs are very well managed and they have all type of equipments and specimens or whatever is required in a typical lab. The sports facilities are awesome here. Students can play any game they like.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel accommodation is very nice. The infrastructure is quite new.the first year stays in a new hostel known as Gokul 2 where pg students also stay. The toilets are in good condition and bathrooms are well cleaned.

Alumni/Alumna

This college has a good culture of maintaining relationships with seniors. The seniors are very helpful and very knowledgeable. The alumni students seems to be always helping and sharing their field and life experiences to the current students whenever they visit the college.

Admission

There is a medical exam conducted throughout the country known as NEET. Admission in this college is through 2 exams - neet & EAMCET. I got admission through neet i.e. vci quota. Counseling process is online for vci quota and physical counseling for EAMCET students.

Faculty

4

The faculty is really good. Most of the teachers are PhD. Some are post graduate also. But they are very experienced and teach in a good way. Teachers support the students in every department. Disciplined teachers always coming to the class at right time and not skipping the classes.

Placement Experience:

The college in which I study is a government college and there won't be anything like "placements" in a veterinary College. The jobs you could get depends on the posts released by the government every year. And you could only get placed in a government job when you get a good GPA, the overall GPA of you in the whole course of four and half years will decide whether you get a government job or not. Keeping a private clinic is more beneficial and profitable as a private clinic could make you earn upto 50k whereas the government job will give you a monthly salary of 30k but more beneficial than private clinic with all the merits.

The qualification of the faculty is PhD. their teaching is awesome. they have good teaching skills. There will be three internal exams and external exams per each professional year. Should study hard to pass the exams as the exams will be tough.
