Entrance Preview

AIEEE was the test on whose basis i got the admission. There was no interview, admission was just on the basis of the result of AIEEE. And i chose B.tech civil because i was interested in construction work.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was great, had a lot to learn about. And the staff here, is well educated and experienced. There were no issues about the staff.

Internships Opportunities

The internship was free and i had all the right to choose about whatever i wanted.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are rare for civil engineering. For other trades no such issues.

College Events

The festivals were great. They gave a lot of memories mainly the college fest. TARANUM the departments separately too had many fests.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarships are there for students mainly SC and ST. For general category too, fee waiver scheme is there but the seats under that scholarship are limited.

Campus Life

I had a great college life. Enjoyed a lot. The college fests, the events, the athletic meet everything was enjoyable and the study too was great. The staff was cooperative and the subjects had a lot to learn about.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is great. Recently in 2015 only, the alumni meet was held in the college. The seniors were very helpful and there was nothing of ragging at all in the college.

Chandigarh University - The best private university

Placement Experience:

They are giving healthy amount of placements with maximum students is gettimng placed in IT companies and the students woh worked very hard they got placed in MNCs. Around 100-200 stuents are planning for M.Tech, MBA etc.

A simple review

Placement Experience:

The college provides placements. and if you dont want to get in the job sector there is also the option of preparing for entrance exams for matser like gate, cat etc. and also you can also prepare for government exam, they prepare you for that.in 5th or 6th semester you become eligible for campus placement. a lot of major companies visits like jp morgan, tcs etc.

Placement Experience:

There is an option for students to opt for placements from campus in our university and if we seect that option we are given special training by the university it self in fields which we think we are weak.That include technical and non technical fields like soft skills. University also ties up with other triaining companis to train us in better way by calling tutors from outside the campus for teaching us. Over all if we consider we are already well trained by university to sit for on campus placements and we usually get a good paying job which also helps us to gain more knowledge and improve ourself.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

I didn't apply for other colleges. I chose this college as it was near my hometown and there were circumstances which prevented me from going too far from home. That's why, I chose this college. The admission process is simple. You need to have passed your senior secondary education in any central and state board. Exams accepted are JEE Mains and Board examinations.
