Remarks

College management used to be sceptical and not very supportive but I guess everything changes with time.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is good and gives you fair knowledge and makes your basics stronger about the subjects. You also get to learn via the labs. After moving to 2nd year or coming years some faculties do prefer presentation way of learning which in my opinion is not that good, industrial visits were organized and it boils down to the student how much he is eager to learn from them.

Placement Experience

1.5

As most of the students in the mechanical domain want to opt for the preparation of GATE/IES examination, hence they don't go for the placements, the rest ones who are ELIGIBLE do get placed.

College Events

2

There are various feats that used to be organised by the students, there used to be the department fest which used to go on for two days and various activities were organized, and there was main fest as well, which used to go on for 3 days and a lot of fun used to happen.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was changed after I passed out and it was feasible at that time as it was 55000 per annum but after that, I think it was changed to 85000 per annum which is a huge change and being distant from the national capital region, I think people are not as keen to pay a hefty amount.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't opt for any education loan nor I got any scholarships. I seriously have no idea if the college gave the scholarship to the meritorious students.

Campus Life

2.5

Extracurricular was good, some faculty did try a lot to get something out of sports and get medals, I played multiple sports and was in two different college teams as well and went on to win good prizes as well. The campus life is okay, boys can roam the campus till 10-11 pm, but girls were restricted till 7 pm only though they could roam in their hostel.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facilities were good, the mess of only 4th year was great and we enjoyed the food there only. The hostels had 3 seater rooms for 2nd year and single-seater rooms available from 3rd year and some triple seater rooms for 3rd year as well, weird combo, right. Rooms were good, in 3rd mine was on the first floor so I can't complain.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good and if anyone wants a change they will surely help you get another job, another profile, senior students are also great.

Admission

I appeared for AIEEE in 2012 and got 134 marks and was admitted to this college. It was the third-best college in Haryana after YMCA and Murthal one, of course, NIT Kurukshetra is out of the league. I applied for this college after my results were out and got admitted in July and classes started in August.

Faculty

4

Faculty was good, they had good knowledge about their subjects, strongholds of their domain. I have passed out the college in 2016 so I am not sure how many new faculties have joined and how they have been teaching the students, but I am hopeful that they are doing good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is successfully combined with theoretical learning and practical applications, enabling students to face both professional lives and higher studies. The majority of students enjoy its applicability. The fee is affordable, with B.Tech priced around ?92,500 per annum. Merit-based scholarships (12th-grade marks, CUET, or JEE Main) give financial assistance with up to a 100% concession for good performers. Few details are available regarding fee differentials for different categories (SC, ST, Management). Examinations are held on a regular basis, such as sessionals and end-of-semester exams. Improvement areas include more effective time management in the tests and more concentration on extracurricular activities.

Placement of the college is depriciating over the year and also i got some words of mouth that some of the top MnC like microsoft has banned this college so it is a very diosappinting for the students if it is a true rumour and also the atmosphere of the college is shaped by students itself so that is also depleting over the year i guess but the college is working on it so it would recover probably
