Remarks

Management is little bit rude but it can be neglected considering other good aspects of college.

Entrance Preview

CET 130 I opted for this college Because of locality which is near to town. Being a muslim college there is some different culture followed there and the area is being watched by police so complete security.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is good and research is very good when it comes to automobile and mechanical department. IT and electronics labs are little old and equipments are not updated so the research is not that good. Electives were offered as per the interest of students.

Internships Opportunities

Yes but internship is like teaching job within the college and it is mostly offered to females, but it provides campus placement and companies give packages above 2.5L p.y.

Placement Experience

More than 60% ppl were placed in 2013. TCS, I gate patni, Accenture,Inscript limited, Infosys, IBM were the companies came to campus. Most of the people were placed in TCS, I GATE PATNI and ACCENTURE based on the criteria and joining dates were also given to them.

College Events

Inter college festival Ambrosia Purple. Each were conducted for 7 days. Active participation of ppl was common. Students and juniors were encouraged to participate in different events which will boosts their confidence. Many cultural and technical events in festivals were conducted. Competitions with other colleges were also conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is Feasible 60k p.y. in 2013. This fee can be afforded by any middle class family. As compared to other colleges, the fee is affordable. Scholarships were also offered which includes 50% of the total fees, thus making education more feasible. No hidden costs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is offered to students who comes under muslim minority. Nearly 50% of the total fees was given back to students which makes education cheap and affordable. No idea abt loan.

Campus Life

Gender ratio depends on course.Automobile and mechanical have less females. Other branches like IT, EXTC have more females or equal no of ratio. Robotics event was conducted by IEEE body. Debates, workships and robotics was part of events under college festivals. No discrimination regarding race and sex. Politics was upto d management level which is obvious.

Hostel Facilities

Average. Food better than outside food. Cleanliness was also good in canteen. Regarding hostel i dont have much information as i used to travel. But some of the faculties were given accommodation which was near to the college. Student hostel was also 15 m

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were helpful, they used to guide on how to prepare for exams which helped a lot in our academic scores.

Exam Structure

Time slots were given for particular set of students for vivas and practicals. Dates were assigned based on seat numbers. During practicals all pendrive slots were disabled to avoid cheating and strict survillence system was installed to avoid malpractice

Faculty are qualified, quality of teaching is average, when it comes to assignments it is not upto d mark. Attendance is strictly assesed so students used to attend classes regularly, and ppl used to clear most of the subjects. Interest of faculties was

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Student become eligibble for compus placements from third year. There are many companies who had came to MIT WPU like Nvidea, CJ , who are offering a pretty good pacakge . Giving the highest package of 51 LPA and average package of 7 LPA. Around 75% of students get placement from MIT WPU.

From 7th semester, the internship opportunities and full time placement opportunities starts to come, For my batch, Veritas, coditas , Worldline, Wipro, KPIT, CrelioHealth, Kylas these companies came with a good package which was greater tha 4 LPA. Highest package was from veritas 12 LPA, Kylas 7 LPA, and average was arount 3.5-4 LPA. Arount 60% students gets placed. I am placed with a good package through campus placement only
