Social life, Return on investment (ROI) and networking are excellent. Placements, Internship, and semester exchange programs need to be taken care of for improvement. To sum up life at AMU is a life-changing experience, this institution gives you a way of life. The level of interactional and humor are unparalleled to students from other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is designed in accordance with the GATE exam for admission into the Master's program. Exams are conducted every semester in a break up of mid-semester examinations and end semester examinations.
Placement Experience
The placements are decent and almost every active student gets placed irrespective of the branch. The college has a tie-up with Internshala for summer internships and some recruiters also visit the college offering internships. The overall experience is satisfactory and the stipend varies from company to company.
College Events
The college hosts an annual college-level technical cum cultural cum literary festival in the ZARF each year. Apart from ZARF the college hosts different events organized by different clubs running in the college. These clubs include SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), Robotics Club, ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers), ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), Innovation Council, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Coding Club, etc. Alumni meets of these clubs and batches are also organized on a regular basis.

Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarships provided by individual alumnus and alumni associations, SSGSA, SSESSA, etc. Apart from these, the minority scholarship is a major source. The college is funded by TEQIP (Technical education quality improvement programme) of MHRD which supports students for various national and international internship programmes such as the prestigious MITACS Globalink Research Internship in Canada and the Indo-Canada Shastri programme.

Labs are included every semester, these labs are well equipped and house instruments and machines from the old times as well as the new versions. Activities include organization and various events held on campus. Fresher's/farewell party is all student-run. There is a good sports culture as all the hostels as well as the university at the central level provide space for sports. The college has official teams as well as branch wise teams for a variety of sports like football, cricket, hockey, basketball, volleyball, badminton amongst the common ones. The college also offers access to exquisite sports like lawn tennis, swimming, horse-riding, and hosts a mountaineering and trekking school.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is state of the art with spacious and well-lit rooms. The facilities provided are class apart far ahead of the fee availed from the students. The mess is a bit disappointing sometimes but its fees justify the quality.
