My dream course

We learned about different yoga aasans and their practical implications. The biological impact of a yoga aasan and its pros and cons were also part of the curriculum. Overall the course structure was pretty good and decent.

Placements a not provided by the university, as such. But they are eager to help students in any capacity. Students passing out from the university stand a chance to get jobs in profiles like yoga instructor, health guide, etc.

My one year fee for the Masters program was around 33k which was feasible for me. For the entire course I paid somewhere around 66k and overall it was a pretty fair deal, when you see the scope of yoga.

Scholarships are available for the meritorious students, who continue to perform well in the academics. Course toppers are recognised and they are eligible for the scholarship grants. While in some cases they levy the fee of the students.

Extracurricular activities are very rare in our university. Only the annual day is celebrated with care and joy. And they can arrange for more events within the campus. Sports activities are also limited, since we for physical well being the entire focus is given to yoga.

The admission process includes an aptitude test, followed by an Interview. Performance in graduation is also taken into consideration for the seat allocation. Students from any stream can apply for the yoga course.

All the faculty members were very much talented and have been practicing for more than 10 years. That kind of experience was very valuable, especially for a program that has very limited theoretical elements and entirely depends on practical learning.
