I didn't attend any of these exams.I love physics so I joined the nearest college from my home.

Internships Opportunities

I studied B.sc physics there . There was no internship programme for us.

Placement Experience

There was a campus recruitment during my last semester.TCS came to our collge .Three students applied only one got the selection.

College Events

Because of the absence of college union ,our celebrations are funded and organized by respective departments or college itself.Festivals like X'mas,Onam, are conducted by either the college or the NSS units inthe college. Many seminars and workshops are organized by various departments.Recently we had a Jubilee celebration and we enjoyed a lot.The valedictory function was inaugurated by Hon. Governor of Kerala.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships available for students.Some of them are: Post metric ,central sector. I don't know about any loans available at the college. But there are some funds for helping poor students ,organized by the college management.

Campus there is very beautiful.Very good atmosphere to study.It's a peaceful atmosphere. In our college about 70% of the students are girls. We didn't had any problems between us . Extracurricular activities includes NSS,NCC,sports, clubs such as Nature club,Tourism club, Eco club,Debate club, Bhoomithra seena,Brain trust, etc. Departments such as Physics,Chemistry,Zoology,Botony has labs .Sports are organized by the college .there will be four houses for the sports ,Red,Blue,Green and Yellow.Those house with maximum points wins the trophy for that year.Debates are organized by the debate club and brain trust. Sometimes departments also arrange debates.

Hostel Facilities

I don't stay in hostels. But the hostels are very good,in the case of rooms and facilities.The fees are very cheap when compared to other hostels. There is no separate mess for hostel.The hostellers us our college canteen. The food is very cheap in price

Alumni/Alumna

As I said almost all the programmes in the college are organized by the college management.The alumni is very helpful in organizing these programmes and also they provide funds for the programmes. Our college donate money for poor children, Our college makes homes for homeless . For all these programmes most of the funds are given by alumni. Our senior students are just like our brothers. They loves us ,Guides us. There is no ragging in our college.

Faculties are very helping .They are like our parents.Good advices. They showed me the light to my destination

Likes

My experience at lissah has been mixing of challenges. Psychology depart has supportive teachers and classes is good
Campus is peaceful and it’s so greenery there are opportunities to take part in different academics
I also like that the psychology department has its own lab and practical exposure and Lissah is well known for psychology itself

Dislikes

I feel that there could be more programmes activities and opportunities for students to make college life
Location could feel like quiet and it’s not in town area
Those who prefer more active atmosphere I would not recommend here

I chose bsc psychology because I was interested in understanding human behaviour. The curriculum covers different areas of psychology along with subjects such as major psychology minor statistics and physiology then English mdc . Since I am still in my first year I have only experienced the initial part of course

Excellent college with good academics

Likes

Loved the college campus and academic approach campus is very vast and diverse provide good classroom environment
Teachers are very supportive and friendly to every student there
Management of college doesn’t torture students like in the other colleges

I didnt like the place where college is located that much
I think strictness can be little less in academic
It need to improve in digital teaching methods

Balanced campus life and quality of education

The teachers were suppourtive and explained the subject clearly
The college campus was clean ,peacful and had a good learning atmosphere
The library and other facilities were useful for students and exam preparation

No placement were there so students had to took jobs on their own
Some classrooms and laboratory facilities needed improvement
More extracurricular activities should be arranged

The course curriculum was well structured and covered the fundamental concepts in all details .It included both theoretical and practical learning ,which helped in understanding the subject better .Internal assessment, assignments and semester examinations were conducted regularly.The exams were of moderate difficulty and manageable with regular study.

Academic excellence in a beautiful campus

Likes

Academic excellence is there. 90 % of students are merit based admission, those who have achieved 90 and above percentage in 12 th grade. So there is high passing percentage.
Cultural programs are regularly conducted. Don't feel stressed out by studies

Dislikes

Sports activities are not regularly conducted or encouraged
Chemistry lab is not clean, chemicals are not kept correctly

Course Curriculum Overview:

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

There is a thing that i don't like is that is the juniors can't participate in dance session for programs that occurring in our college. Only seniors are participating for it and also the dressing for some event are controlled by the Seniors. Buuutt
In college facilities there is not that much places for sitting during the intervals. That makes everyone bothered.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The course is available in private college therefore there must be fee. The admission fees for this course is 25000.and for those who take admission by management they want to give 50000.after that there is semester fees, which is 16000 for every semester.Our lab and tuition fees are including in this, exam fee we want to pay on the time of exam. In college competitive our course have a greater fee comparing to others. There is scholarship for the category's like SC, ST. Not know the exact amount of scholarship.

My honest review for my lovely college

I choose this college as one of my mum's friend was one of the staff there jn the college and he said he would always help me out when I'm in need and that's also one of the nearest college in my surroundings. I was actually trying to enrolled myself in a better and far away colleges but due to Covid, my mum lost her job and we don't want to be seperated from each other during hard times.
