In my opinion every engineer must experience IIT BHU Varanasi's life. There is so much to explore in this college. Its best part is its hostels. Hostel life at IIT BHU Varanasi is very nice. Its like my second home. Its heaven for us.

I took IIT-JEE. I have got 169 marks out of 360. I have chosen IIT BHU Varanasi because i wanted to opt either computer science or electronis engineering in top 8 IITs and with my rank I would get electronics engg in IIT BHU Varanasi . So i chose this college.

IIT BHU Varanasi's course structure gives a great importance to research and such kind of things. If someone want to pursue for higher studies in his/her branch then this course structure is perfectly suitable for him/her. From 1st to 4th year one knows almost everything about his/her branch.

Yes our college provide internship in various fields like in mechanical engg, electrical engg,. Half of the time it is of without stipend. Otherwise moderate stipend is given like 5000 rs per month. In these internships, students have great experience as they learnt lot of things related to their fields. Their accommodation in hostels is a good experience for them with quality mess food.

IIT BHU Varanasi is known for its placement from a long time. There are a lot of job opportunities in IIT BHU Varanasi in software field,core electronics,core mechanical,marketing,etc. Almost all kinds of companies come here every year and recruit almost more than 95% students. IIT BHU Varanasi is a kind of IIT which is well known for its placement stats.

Every year 3 major festivals are celebrated in my college. First fest that is celebrated is our sports fest SPARDHA. More than 1100 participants come from various technical colleges across the nation. In this 3 day fest 19 games are organised. Second fest is our cultural fest KASHIYATRA. From dance, theatre,music to lit,fine arts all kinds of cultural events are there with some informal events too. Many participants come from various colleges to enjoy and participate.Third fest is our techno-management fest TECHNEX. More than 1000 participants come from various colleges to participate in more than 20 technical and management events.

IIT BHU Varanasi's fee strucuture is feasible as compared to various private technical colleges. Every semester students need to deposit 50,950 rs as tuition+hostel fees and in addition 12000 rs as mess fees. This tuition fees is for General and OBC category students. For SC/St students , there is a slight difference in tuition fees which is 6000 rs per semester.

There are many scholarships available.There is merit cum mean scholarship in which 1 lac rupees is given to students who are following some certain criteria s like annual income of their family is less than 6 lac rupees per year and also they have better JEE rank than other branch mates. Also student loan is given by SBI in which after passing out from the college student himself/herself has to pay his loan.

IIT BHU Varanasi's students are leading a very good campus life. Greenery is there, all kinds of facilities are available in campus or near campus. Gender ratio is almost 15:1 of boys and girls. In college ,students are there from every part of the nation. A huge diversity can be seen in college. Time to time , workshops are organised of different kind like IEEE, robotics, aero-modelling,coding, app development, automotive engg etc. With these workshops, students are engaged in different kind of extracurricular activities like dance,theater,literary,music,sports,fine arts. They practice their specialty every evening. There is not any kind of discrimination in the college.

Hostel facilities are quite good in IIT BHU Varanasi. If someone have any problem regarding hostel, then after his/her complain , action is taken within 2 days and if anyone want something like badminton net or tables,chairs etc , then its need is fulfil

College seniors and alumni are very important persons for the students as they guide students. They tell students which path they need to choose after seeing student's potential. They tell students what kind of questions come in interview , what kind of mistakes they should not do , how to impress the person in an interview.They are very helpful throughout the college. Although sometimes seniors make fun of their juniors for entertainment just to increase senior-junior interaction. Sometimes sports team want their own kit but can't get it from college , then its alumni who give fund for kit.

In IIT BHU Varanasi there is semester system. Every year there is 2 semester . In each semester , there is 2 class tests with a gap of one month or less and then there is end semester examination at the end of the semester. 2 class tests is very hectic fo
