Remarks

This college treated like as a school they a treat us like school boys ther are lots of rules like in schools in the outside others call this college as school in my opinion there are lot of negatives about thie college

Course curriculums are not better ,exams are little bit tougher to acquire required internal marks for university exams are compulsory for every student. course curriculums are not better compaered to other colleges

The placements and job opportunities are available in our college mostly based on the software fields like companies infosys.compared to other collefes placements are more in this college after you will definte job

College Events

Feasible and are not expensive they also providing scholarships for the poor and those who study well academics it si helpfull for the poors and in ao many branches there is no extra payments for the admiasion

Sports events are not more importance sports events are held in holidays and so many are not coming to see the sports and not more importance in sports labs are nice and lab staffs also nice lab exams are internal exams

Senior are not friendly because they do not get time interact with others most of them are helpful and lovely no raggings and other violences from the seniors.a the alumni network of the college is not better

Admission

It is my nearby college. One of neighbour said about this college and also my prefer this college for me, me and my one my friend joined the college.I got admission through interview and i am joined in ec department.

Faculty

Facultys are not friendly.e ven if you get admission there you will also saw they are not lovely they all are very strict towards the students and trested us very poorley teaching also not better compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

I applied for 4 college include the current one they were : 1)SRM , Chennai 2)M.A.C.E, Kothamangalam 3)MITS , Varikoli 4)V.J.C.E.T, Vazhakulam From these 4 colleges I was rejected by MA college and MITS. I think my KEAM score was too low to make it there . I got a seat at SRM for Electronics and Communication Engineering but was not financialy able enought to afford it. As I was applied for 2engineering colleges and 1 arts and science college. The name of the engineering colleges is 1)viswajyothi college of engineering and technology vazhakulam(Ernakulam) 2)Rajagiri school of engineering and technology (Ernakulam). And third arts and science college name is Amritha vidhya college (Ernakulam). I didn't get any rejections from these colleges but compared to these three colleges I chose viswajyothi college of engineering and technology vazhakulam Ernakulam because there I got my admission according to my JEE score and for less management fees.
