Remarks
The only negative about this college is the batch strength is to big so students have to compete with large number of students for placements but the positive side is every student at the end gets placed but they get to build such a big network which is very necessary for any MBA graduate to prosper in his or her life plus the fun and various amenities this college provide is one of the best.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is divided into 3 parts in 1st part are first two semesters in which everyone are thought the same subjects from every field of MBA so that they can bring every student from different backgrounds in level field the 2nd part is the SIP in which students are sent to various organisations for 3 months of internships to gain some practical knowledge about the field work and the 3rd part which consists of third and fourth semester respectively students can choose specialisation in which they are interested. Coming to the exam pattern it is again divided into two parts internal and external in which internal carries 60% of weightage and external which means semester carries 40% of weightage, internal consist of class participation, non class participation ( exam) and projects.
Placement Experience
Even though being a MBA college it almost gets thousand admission per year so the challenge they face of getting each placed is very outrageous still IBS has one of the best track record in terms of placement the minimum package of this college is 6 lakhsand maximum is 18 lakhs. They also attracts 2-3 international companies which has annual packages ranging from 20 lakhs to 50 lakhs so students have ample companies to choose from for each department. Coming to the SIP process as i said earlier it's of three months starting from march ending in may to motivate students to do well in SIP they have best SIP awards in which few students get cash prize of 50,000 and each student get placed in companies in whichever he wants to.
College Events
As i said earlier this college has a average batch size of 1000 so events are must in this college to engage students as well. The main fest of the college is Trishna in which various clubs organise events in whichever field they are from plus there are dj nights and some celebrity visits every now and then as well as their are conclave or guest lectures conducted by different clubs as well as every club has its own minor and major events so students have ample amount of time to have fun as well apart from studies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee which we have to pay for 2 years of our education is 16 lakhs although the fee is expensive but almost every colleges in India charges same amount of fee and the fee structure is feasible because the amenities they offer each and every student has its own private room plus the study curriculum as well as other major activities the fee is expensive but justifiable.
Fees and Financial Aid
They have various scholarships offered by this college if you are the state, district or overall topper the fee amount will be substantially decreased as well as if you came in the first 10 rankings of this college for that as well students get scholarships and if a student has achieved something in sports and district level for that as well small amount of scholarship is offered. Coming to the loan facility this college has a tie up with SBI as well as students can opt for other bank loans so students don't have to hesitate about anything.
Campus Life
Apart from case study based teaching this college is also well known for its extracurricular activities this college has 32 clubs whether for acting, singing, sports or technology the clubs are diverse so students can choose to be part of ant club which they feel they can be part of and each club has its own strength and fun every club conducts its own event according to the domain of which they are in this college has extracurricular activities for 250 days from 365 days in a year so students will stay busy and fun as well with studies.
Hostel Facilities
Every MBA student has to opt for hostel facility because the college is in outskirt so the infrastructure and facilities are one of the best as i said earlier each student has its own private room plus the wifi speed is more than good as well as their is cleaning of rooms each weekend and food facilities students gets food for four times starting from breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinners.
Alumni/Alumna
If you want to have friendly seniors this college will provide one. Our seniors help us in our exams they help us and teach us if we have any doubts about any subjects and they will just behave with you as if they are to friends not your seniors and they definitely do not indulge in ragging.
Admission
IBS has it's own entrance exam on basis of that they call for the selection process of GD & PI the marks of from 10,12 as well as graduation are added with GD & PI marks accordingly student is selected then there are 5 slots each day some number of students are called for the registration process according to the marks criteria if any student has a problem on a particular he or she can shift the days according to their feasibility then each students are given a set of token on the basis of first come first serve basis and they have to go through five process. First process is of filling the basic details second process is to click a picture for id card third process is the biometric registration fourth process is to submit all the graduation certificates and last process is the hostel allocation.
Faculty
Faculties of the college are very diverse and student friendly their is no typical student teacher bond in this campus students can openly express their views infront of teachers and they try to help students as much as they can. Teachers from each department if its operations, marketing or finance all are juggernauts of their own background and they try to explain in easiest way possible plus this college has case study structure in which they have real life managerial examples of various organisations so teachers let their students to point of view what else is possible to solve the issue so they can be ready for the real world.
