Remarks

Positive- It is very good college with every facilities like there is no electricity cut , water coolers are good ,faculties are very supportive in every case. HOD of every department is very helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good. Exams structure is like in 2 phases internal and external. In internal examination there are 3 phases CT(CYCLIC TEST)1,2,3 Followed by an internal model practical. And there is 1 exam of semester.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities in my college is very good. Many companies come to my college to hire the students those who are available. Many IT MNC also come to our college for students placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive- As it is a private University it's fees is not that feasible but yes one can afford it. Fees is approximately 1,90000 per annum excluding your expenses. In first year registration fees of 10000 RS is given.

Fees and Financial Aid

Sports scholarship- As someone has played international matches his/her fees is 100% free and if they have played Nationals then the fees is reduced by 50% and if someone has played state then 25% fees is reduced.

Campus Life

Labs and sports are good. Extracurricular activities are much here in this college as there are many tests like technical tests and quiz and many cultural activities like dancing, music and many others.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are good. As the college is ragging free campus so there is nothing like senior junior that much. It's just like all respect each other. Seniors are helpful as they guide us how to study and also about the placement.

Admission

I had gone through an entrance examination. And I cleared the examination. Then we have to select branch in the college according to the seats available and I got IT (Information technology) branch.

Faculty

Faculty is very good helping and knowledgeable. They are great in knowledge of the subject they are teaching. It's just like teacher are really good at what they are teaching. They are also very helping.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
