College is a definitely delight to study in. You may not find it easy to bunk the class as faculties might come to look for you in the canteen but if you want to study, DIET is one of the best colleges you can think of.

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering is a 4 year course. Course mainly focuses on theory and mathematical problems which are frequently used in industries. Exams are conducted at the end of every semester. So you'll have total 8 exams. Mid-semester exams are extra.

Placements were below par at my time as market conditions weren't so good that time. Though I have heard that currently a lot many students are finding their way tk the industries right after completing their 8th semester.

College holds many events like cultural program, technical event, non technical events and much more. College is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University which holds University level events at the college as well. Also winter sports events are to be counted as well.

When I was studying, my annual fee was about INR 48000. Transportation fees were somewhere between INR 14000 to INR 17000 per year. Every year college increased facilities and hiked the fees a bit too.

College gives scholarship every year to students who gets high scores. I am not aware of any loan facilities at the college. Also college used to give medals and price money to students who secured top 3 ranks in exams.

All the labs in college are very well equipped and facilitated. Every lab has air conditioners. Mechanical workshop has many Lathe machines, Milling Machine, Slotting Machine etc. Also college has couple of play grounds in which students can play cricket, football, basketball etc.

Yes they are. College has an allumni department. Every year college holds an allumni function and invites all old students to gather and reward them for their career. Seniors were very supportive at my time.

It is based on merit created on 12th Standard's marksheet. It is an online process conducted by ACPC. You need to fill up an online form and select the colleges you would want to get in, select the courses and submit it. ACPC will give you the college name and stream based on merit.

All the faculties were really knowledgeable and kind. They knew their field and always worked on to pass their knowledge to the students. Laboratories were well equipped as well to conduct experiments related to mechanical engineering.
