One if the best college in goa

It tooks 6 years to complete my graduation. Even though I have no negative remarks for my college I enjoyed each day of my college. The only problem with the transportation. College was 2 km away from the highway

Course curriculum was really good. Practical were also based on the latest tec. And Most of subjects based on the algorithms. We had two semesters per year including 6 internal test out of any two was compulsory and project for each semester.

No, our college doesn't provide any internship, bt do provide placement. Placement comes on seventh and eight semester. Most of companies requirements was 60% aggregates. Companies like Infosys,Microsoft, cognizant comes for placement. The student who did not placed, even after passing the college they get good jobs due to reputation of our college

For each semester there were 2 events organized by college one is inner college and other event is inter college. Our famous event was TANDAV. Apart from this event each department organize two events per year. So overall around 20 events were happening in our college.

It's government college so fees was feasible compare to other private colleges in goa. Many students also used to get scholarship. My first year fee was around 30 thousand. And hostel and mess fee around 5 thousand.

0%. Interest education loan, this scheme was given by Goa government during our time, many students have taken advantage of that scheme. It was really helpful for us. I had not applied for any scholarship in college.

Lab was standard with AC and other facilities like water supply (machine) high speed wifi. Our sports ground was too huge, the name of the ground was infinity ground. College have basket ball, cricket, football grounds.

Hostel life was awesome in Goa college of engineering. Infrastructure was also good, for final year students thera was single room per person with WiFi and mess. There are 4 hostel in our college. Even we had huge space for parking

Senior students were very helpful they helped me in many subjects for clearing my exams. They were really friendly. No raaging was happened at our time. Every year college conducts alumni meeting we have long network (group)of alumin on social media.

Admission was based on Goa Common Entrance test. My rank for GCET was 143, there were total three rounds for admission process. so after clearing written test I easily got the admission in computer science field.

We had experience facility for computer science department, our HOD (IIT BOMBAY) pass out was very interesting man , his teaching style is way different from the others. We used to get lot of assignments during semester that what I most hate about the college. Rest everything was great.
