Remarks
Just remember you are going to invest a lot of money in your future education to achieve your goal. My recommendation is if this college is your last option to choice from go for CSE only not anything else as from 3rd year you can prepare for the gate or cat exam for higher studies in India which will help you stablish your career again in future. Also one very very important piece of advice always score more than 80%+ in each semester and after 4 year make sure your percentage will be above 80%+ for sure this will help you with foreign university admission if you want to persue higher studies outside India. Last but not least Only one thing take your life decisions wisely. You are going to spend 4 year of it. Make it worth.
Course Curriculum Overview
Bachelor of technology (B Tech) course was good as I did my course in computer science engineering(CSE) branch which is the best branch to opt in for if you are looking for placement and have stable career growth because getting placed in CSE branch is much more effective than any of these other branch because majority of MNCs offer placement for CSE, IT, ECE, EEE. It is really difficult to get placed in Machinal and civil or any other branches for that matter specifically in this college. Now for course curriculum as I can only talked about what was my experience was in CSE - It was average because you are not getting a world class faculties also the CSE course they are using to teach us is outdated and following the course curriculum offers in my college follows Uttar Pradesh tachnical University(Doc. APJ kalam University), if you are going to compare the learning curve of this college with IITs than it is below the average, also your teacher are not well experienced. Which causes a lot of problems for my batch as we had to do everything by our own without getting any help. But I can assure you one think that final each end semester exam is always easy as they just ask majority of previous year question which also help you score good marks easily. And for marks provided by college just maintain your attendance and properly complete your assignments will provide your almost full marks in internal exam. Also if you wanna learn more follow the GATE exam CSE course. As college is not effective enough to provide you with knowledge, which makes you an engineer.
Placement Experience
The placements are good, and all multinational companies will come to offer the jobs for the student. The average package will be 2.0 -3.5 lakhs per anum and some students also got the package around 6 lakhs per annum or even more than that. Some students are qualified for the GATE exams, and they get admission in different IIT college of India. College does provide intership opportunities as I did my internship for almost 3 month at IIT Bombay for computer networking and web technology related stuff. During my internship I worked with students from IIT that help me gain better understanding of my subjects and how to think, frame and ask properly. It was a one of the best experiences I had in this college. Also I got a stipend of around 45k rupees for those time period. And at last I also did a project with them.
College Events
College generally celebrated National events like 1. Innovision( like cultural fest here we whole 1 day you can actually enjoy the different activities with along with good food and some quality times with friends ) 2. CSI Student Convention zones(where students from near college gather into competitive environment for different activities from coding marathons to poster making competition everything you can imagine ) 6. Enterpreneurship program (one of my favorite where originations from India govt. Comes to motivate and tell us everything about this problem from your idea to make into a business, like how seed funding work what is hell zone, how to gain investor and lastly but not least how to become an entrepreneur) 4. Sports day(which help for 1 day a year only) and so on.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I can say as it is a private college that fee is expensive As for whole 1 year btech course you are paying almost 1lakh per annum now here include your travel expenses + living expenses which roughly put the whole 1 year college fee at around 1.3+lakh per annum and it's more if your opting in for hostal or pg near the college because than your college fee include hostel will be around 2lakh+ per annum. Now compare whole fee with quality you are getting, is very bad.
Fees and Financial Aid
As u didn't opt for any scholarship I have no idea, the only thing I am sure know for is that you will get some sort of scholarship if you score per semester 80+%. Also yes education load facility is available I can give you guarantee because one of my close friend opted for education load. For more details just directly ask the college about it.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are not available in this college it will show you lush green environment but in reality whole college is under construction. No sports of any sort or anything. On the other side we have around 20+ computer labs equipped with decent Lan connections which comes with window + Ubuntu.
Hostel Facilities
NO, i have not opted for the hostel. from delhi it maximum takes almost 1.5 hour to the college if you travel by college bus. otherwise there are many hostels around the college. Also if you travelling like from metro than taking a bus or shuttle or cab service from botanical Garden to college I can assure you now that you don't have to worry much. As New metro line is already open where you can just directly take metro routes from anywhere in Delhi towards direct college which is some quality of life changes. The college doesn't have its own hostel. I have some of my friends who actually opted for hostel for whole 4 year. I can say that hostel in near by location of college is average not so good but not so bad either. It all depends upon how much you are willing to pay to comfort your life.
Alumni/Alumna
I have no idea about anything regarding alumni network and senior students, as during my time for whole 4 year we never had any alumni meet up. And senior students are just non existing because they too are battling their own battle. This is just a reality of this college, it is not a IITs or something. Just another private college.
Admission
I directly approach them by phone calls, as this college has two different branch one in greater Noida and one is in gurugram. I contacted the gurugram branch for admission process but they told me they are already full with admission. But suggested me to contact greater Noida branch and after telephonic conversation with regarding fees and documentation required for admission. I opt for direct admission as they are not asking for any donations, also whole fees your admission fee you are paying is also your 1st year college fee payment.
Faculty
Faculty are just average or sometime below that. Because HOD is keep changing every semester like lottery systems, also new teacher are coming each semester sometime few left in between semesters and then we itself as a students have to teach those subjects to ourselves. But I can say one thing that teachers are supportive as they too understand and know what they are which help you with maintaining healthy relation with them. If they are not good at teaching, they will help you with attendance and all other activities like if you wanna prepare for some another exam for higher education, they can provide you some help.
