Best College in Navi Mumbai

Pillai College of Engineering is the best college in Navi Mumbai and helds the biggest college fest called 'Alegria' where many celebrities and well known people are invitated. A student can enjoy their four years completely. Our college looks after the overall development of a student and main moto is that they get placed before graduating.

Our board is Mumbai University so accordingly faculty prepares our course. Mumbai University has well organised portion. It has a subject called Business Communication Ethics which helps to inculcate soft skills required in Industry. Study Camp is held for student after the portion is completed. It is an open book test where students solve question paper. Exam structure has eighty marks written paper and twenty marks internal.

Many companies come to our college such as LTI, Tata, Byjus, Jaro, Wipro etc. Even MNC companies provides placements. Our college provides internship related to teaching field. Our college Committee of training and placement notify students about the internship programs and placement held in different companies. Encourages students to apply for different companies, course.

Many events are held in our college. Alegria is the biggest college fest in Navi Mumbai. We celebrate Environmental day in which college students along with professors spreads awareness of clean India by organising act, speech. This year Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated by spreading plastic awareness. Group of students was allotted an area to collect plastic. The group with most collected plastic was rewarded. Job fair was held by Shiv Sena in our college. Around 300 companies has provided employment to many employees. IEEE day is celebrated by holding workshop and games. Students are rewarded for best performance. Inspiration events, Expert talk, CSI magazine launch are held for student.

Comparing with other colleges, our colleges fee structure is quite feasible. But for students having low finance can have an issue. Since our college provides and support many scholarship so those students can apply without any worries.

College helps and notify us when MahaDBT's Rajashri scholarship starts. Students which belong Economically Backward class(EBC) are eligible to apply for this scholarship, in which half tution fee is returned. College support us by paying only the half fee during the academic year.

College has different committees for every branch. They held different activities, workshop so that students can learn different and new things. Labs are very comfortable and spacious and each lab has fifty students capacity. Many sports are held such has football, cricket and is a member of FIFA.

Our college has its Alumni association committee, organises many events in which senior share their experience of 4 years. They inspires the students, advice to participate in every activities held in college.

Once you clear CET exam, online admission forms are out. You need to include the names of colleges of your choice. In first I was selected for the Computer Department in Pillai College of Engineering(PCE). Hence went to ARC and confirmed my seat. Next went to PCE and got the admission. You need to buy and fill the college form, also online form is filled by the college department. Submitted all the original documents to the college and paid the fee by DD.

Faculty not only help us to study but also encourage us to participate in different activities. Group of students is assigned a Mentor which helps in every problem till you graduate. Mentor keeps track of student regarding their academic activities and suggest accordingly to do something new.
