Remarks

100% Anti ragging campus with zero tolerance on any case of ragging if found. Infrastructure, faculty, placement opportunities everything is good only thing you have to care about it 75% attendence and odd even concept if you got any backlogs.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum will not only enhnace your technical knowledge over the subjects but it also includes the overall growth of a better human. Apart from main subjects extra lectures , seminars and workshops are held for human behaviour, developing mindsets, design thinking which helps a person a lot in their lives. Exam Structure is very simple to divided into two categories 1. Internals 2. Externals. Internals are of 30 marks and externals are of 70, you have to score atleast 21 in externals and as a sum (internals+externals >= 35), if you are opting for dual degree you must aim for 40 instead of 35. Amity Gurgaon follows odd and even criteria, in case you fail in a even sem's subject(suppose sem 2) then you can only give exam in the even sem (sem 4,6,8). Same rule applies for Practical exams as well.

Placement Experience

4

Amity provides a lot of job opportunities for each and every department. You should have atleast 60% and no active backlogs at the timeplacement season starts. There can be companies which will not follow this criteria, but most of them will do. So if you want to land into a good handsome package you should be serious about the criteria. Speaking about internships one must have good academic score and good connections with their alumnia. Amity may or may not provide you internships but if it will, it will depend again on your academics so work hard from day one.

College Events

4.5

Amifest Amity Marathon Sangathan Hostel Cultural Fest Monthly DJ Nights Innovation Day All Major Festivals There are many more inside events you may find when you are a part of the University. Amifest is a 2 day fest and Sangathan is a month long event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Amity Gurgaon fee stucture is feasible if comapred with Noida campus. If you are comparing it with other colleges you may find it expensive but again the facilities and knowledge provided by the University can't be matched so it is all worth it at the end.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are always a part of attraction as a student, being a part of Amity there are 2 major ways to utilise scholarships. One is when you take admission to the University based on your 12th academic score you are provided with the scholarship and the second is based on your semester score you are awarded with the scholarships who's details you can find on University websites.

Campus Life

5

Sangathan is the biggest event of the year which organises various sports competition. Innovation day is the one where you can go geeky and showcase your technical skills which you have molded into physical world. Apart from these two there are various competitions which are organised by various department levels. Competitions and events like these will help you implement your theory knowledge into the real world.

Hostel Facilities

4

Although i didn't opted for Hostels, but stayed there for atleast 6 months. There are two types of rooms one is AC and one is Non AC. Gurgaon campus have various food mess depending upon everyone's need. Hostels are designed in a proper way and hygiene is maintained with highest priority. I will rate 8/10 overall.

Alumni/Alumna

Take a note on this, without you being connected to your seniors you would be missing very important insites on your upcoming semesters, events and many more important things within your campus. Alumni will help you get good internships and even off campus placement opportunities , so overall speaking it is a win win situation for you if you are good with your seniors, alumni and your teachers.

Admission

The minimum criteria for the admission in B.Tech is to have minimum of 60% marks in PCM then you have to give one entrance exam of Amity (Amity Jee) followed by interview taken by upper management. Apart from this one can have 60% in PCME + 30 marks in Jee and can have direct addmission without any further entrace exam or interview. So i got admission through second criteria.

Faculty

4

College faculty are very helpful, skillfull and proficient in their workfields. One must take full advantage of their connections and knowledge. One might someone stuck with a no coordinating faculty, but you have ample of people around you to help you out, so you can easily approach them.

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
