I love my college and my life here.

Entrance Preview

IIT JEE Rank-3142, I was pretty much interested in civil engg. and I got this college at my rank.

Internships Opportunities

I haven't done any internship yet, but a lot of companies come here for internship of cse,ece & ee branch, Which provide accomodation along with good stipend e.g. flipkart gave 50000 INR along with 2 month accomodation an lunch.

Placement Experience

These companies which come for intern also come for placement and give away good money.

College Events

Technical-TECHNEX Cultural-KASHIYATRA Sports-SPARDHA These are major fests. Teams from colleges of all over India come in these fests.

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit Cum Mean scholarship is available here in which almost full tution fee is reimbursed. Loan is also available by SBI situated inside the campus.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. Gender ratio is low as in any other IIT. There are lot of extra curricular activities which happen here. Alot of clubs like photography club,fielm and media club etc. are present here. Sports Gymkhana is here.Robotics,debates often happens in robotics and literary club.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are fine. Fees is same as other IIT. Mess Food is good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good as the college is very old. Senior students are very helping.

Faculty

Very good. Faculty is very experienced and supporting.

Placement Experience:

After 7th sem for b.tech student and 5th sem for diploma student is ready for campus placement. The company is visited in my collage is Mahindra, Infosis, Tata, Maruti Suzuki , TCS ,Gallent.Their are near about 80% students are placed. After getting the degree I want to become a successful Mechanical Engineer.

i would rate the course curriculum as moderately relevant and avg in comprehensiveness . it covers core subjects and includes labs , which helped me choose jobs and further studies through it lacks depth in newer technologies. exams are held twice per sem plus internals and they are generally manageable if you study regularly

The complete IIT BHU experiences

Placement Experience:

Placements are a core strength of IIT BHU with students becoming eligible from the 7th semster . The Placement rate is excellent consistently above 87%. Top tier companies from all sector (IT,Core,Finance,Consulting) like Google,Microsoft and Goldman Scahs recruit Heavily . the avergage package is very high often exceeding 20 lpa with top offers going much higher while others pursue hugher studis or startps.

Placement Experience:

Good Faculty but not so good placement

Placement Experience:

Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Adani are the top recruiters here but many other companies also visit here. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology has its own dedicated placement cell other than Central placement cell of University of Lucknow. Approximately 70% students at placed in every batch with a median package of 3.5 LPA, and Highest package of 12 LPA.

At the time of counselling i was confused between IIIT nagpur CSE and here . But then i checked on many parameters .. IIIT dont have well developed infra and usually are in outskirts of city . The IIT BHU STORY

I choose iit bhu because of iit tag string mining dept and most imp the campus life which felt better than other options i have . I have options of few iits like iit dhanbad and all but iit bhu stood out the most from all other iits in terms of everyaspect as it has strong placements records and aluminia base with lots of supported startups.
