Remarks

when you see with positive mind and positivity filled heart , definitely you'll have atkeast a "FEW" remarks in our college like i said above. And asking about negatives, no one have enough patience to bring out that heavy list. But anyway being a student of the college, i genuinely respect this college & will be affectionate towards it and people from this place when i meet them in my future ; and everyone has their own pros and cons about their colleges. afterall we will spend 5&1/2 years in this place.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

At present the course curriculum includes 9semesters with 2semesters in 1yr MBBS, 3semesters in 2nd yr MBBS, 2semesters in final MBBS part-1 and 2 sems in final MBBS part-2. course curriculum is same all over the country and there is nothing to review that. you must have to pass 1st yr mbbs to promote to second yr. Exam structure includes theory exam and practicals. exams are not conducted at the end of semesters but they are conducted by the end of each year i.e at the end of 1st mbbs, second mbbs like that.

Placement Experience

4

As this is a medical college and general hospital every student who has passed final mbbs have to do internship for a period of 1year. At present i'm a final mbbs student and so i personally don't have any experience about internship but all i know those details of internship are from my seniors and in their words internship is the period in your mbbs where you'll see different kind of people in the form of patients and their attendants, disturbed by deaths and blushed by seeing newborns faces in labor rooms, variety kinds if diseases , and of course heavy work and night duties. Inspite of all those HEAVY WORK and night duties , a poor amount of Rs.2500 will be received as STIPEND.

College Events

2.5

coming to the culturals and events , they are not this college's cup of tea. Just to keep their students active for every 2years a event under unofficial name college day will be conducted officially for 3days. games includes cricket, volley ball, throwball(girls), badminton, running race, kho-kho basketball will be conducted. there will be gaming and other entertainment based stalls over those 3days where actual and open communication & interaction among students (boys-girls) will happen. on the 2nd night of 3days a DJ event will be conducted and on 3rd day there will be an event conducted for culturals and presentations for gamers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As ours is a private medical college fee structure will be different for students of three categories based on the type of seat they got. A-category students 1 lakh per annum (including hostel accommodation and food expenses) B-category students 12.5 lakhs per annum (along with food and hostel expenses) C-category students - management quota students about 1-1.5 crores per 5 years course.

Fees and Financial Aid

within the college compound Bank of India branch is there where the eligible students can apply for bank loans and scholarships. (Terms & conditions apply guys.) many of my friends avail scholarships and got bank loans for big amounts and no big worries about interest. hurray!

Campus Life

3.5

hardly students get the time and place for extracurricular activities in our college. bcoz, most of them will be busy with phones sitting in the rooms all the evening and night (9am - 5 pm classes) & moreover, they are no much facilities for any recreation activities. interested players can go for cricket in a place that somewhat looks like ground, and those who try to impress girls with great body and tight toned muscles can go for a kutty gym in hostel. a big library with capacity of 200 students where hardly 30 studs visit that thing. a canteen like place for evening chats with snacks chai fast food is available for those romantic privacy seeking couples but never get such privacy in our college, it's everywhere open for couples.feeling sad

Hostel Facilities

3.5

i opted for hostel as i thought it would be convenient. and mine was good choice. hostels here have good infrastructure compared to other medical college. rooms will be spacious with attached bathrooms, good water supply 24×7, good ventilation and 24×7 power supply. two persons will be accomadated for one room. hostel has free WiFi facility.( ignore the speed)

Alumni/Alumna

one of the good things about the college is (not exactly about the college) seniors and that ever connected alumni network. really seniors suggestions and tips during exams for juniors is literally the best thing.

Admission

After completing my 12th standard Bi.P.C group i wrote EAMCET entrance exam conducted in year 2015 in which i secured 120 marks for a total of 160 & i got state wide rank 2468. I belong to SV University region and so under NTRUHS counselling for MBBS course i chose shantiram medical College, nandyal to study my MBBS.

Faculty

4

college faculty is better. students will have a good clinical exposure and theoretical knowledge will be sharpened by the faculty's innovative and creative easy methods of explanations and power point presentations. (( don't ask about how interested are the students))

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is CBME based. I chose this course cause of my sister., she is also studying in our college. There is a bit of spoon feeding here. But the person who studies on their interest only gets good marks. The timings for the exams are not so bad but are difficult to complete the given syllabus in time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

1. First of all the joy to treat and cure a patient is irreplacable with any other branch. 2. You get to see real time patients all the way since 2nd year itself and understand how everything works in real time. 3.The exams have a gap of around 3 months and are moderate to difficult. 4. A more integrative teaching is needed.

Great college to Study, Bad College for Enjoying. It will come good as it is still a budding college. Soon, playgrounds will be there and lot of sports from our college will come up. But academically, this is one of the top places to be. You may think it maybe a new college, so it wouldn't be great. But, the academics are top class and you would be happy enough to come here for it.
