Entrance Preview

I got into the college through mark basis selection using previous academic records and was positioned rank 1 or 2 in the selection list .I thought it to be good in terms of its past reputation but presently its not that good.

Internships Opportunities

No internships are available with university presently, one may apply for the internship on individual basis. One can perform internship at near by companies like hindalco and MCL. But i didn't had the opportunity to see any friend within my circle to perform experiments at these companies. and i am talking for physics internship part and not the engineering part.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunity for engineering students are good, but placement for Basic science students have not started yet.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, many scholarships are available for students but i am not sure about its availability and type.

Almost every student gets the placement provided by the college. My plan after getting the degree is to be a teacher in Kv.The highest packege per school is abou 45-50,000.

I have applied to OUTR, Bhubaneswar, IGIT, Sarang, and VSSUT, Burla. I got a confirmed admission from all three colleges but I chose VSSUT because it has an NIRF ranking of 151. Also, it has so many technical and cultural clubs from which I can enhance my skills as well as gain experience while working on many projects. No, I didn't get any rejection from another college. You can get admission to VSSUT through JEE or OJEE exam. You must secure 60% in your intermediate. The cut-off for different branches will be different.
