It's good. But there is a politics between the teachers. Sometimes students are affected by such things.
Entrance Preview
From my very 1st day in Higher Secondary Education I wanted to study in Botany. So After Higher secondary examination with 65% marks conducted by WBCHSE I took admission in Nabadwip Vidyasagar College under University of Kalyani.
Internships Opportunities
It was a general science college. So no jobs are given here. After completing B.sc students get chance to study M.sc in University. But we received government fellowship and many other scholarships.
Placement Experience
No jobs are offered from the college. As it is a general science college. The only chance we have is to study M.sc then find our own way.
College Events
Many cultural, social, events are organised by our college. We have a NSS team. Which is to increase social awareness in local people. We also have a NCC team.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is very flexible. We completed our total course in just Rs.15000. Rs.5000 per year. It is quiet easy for us to bear the fees. Tuition fees is only 110 per month. And lab fee is just 70 per month.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes we received different scholarship from the government. Such as Merit cum Means, Swami vivekananda Scholarship.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good. We had a great time. Annual sports of the college is arranged in every winter. We also have a state football team. Recently a seminar programme was arranged by UGC in our college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is not quiet good. The food they serve is not edable. Hostel charges are also high. The condition of the rooms are very poor.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very supportive. They help us a lot. They became our friend. They helped me in study related matters. During reunion programme we had interactions with our alumni. They gave us suggestions for a better career.
Exam Structure
We have Semester system exam structure. It is a 3 year course. Examination is conducted by the University.
Faculty
The faculty of Botany in this college are very good. I have honours in Botany and two elective subjects- Chemistry and Zoology. Teachers helped me lot during the course.
