Remarks

Placement problems is the big problem. But the positive sign of the college is infrastructure, lab and teaching. These are so strong than other colleges. Canteen not available. Playground are small. Overall my college is positive.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My colleague have many types of trades i.e. Arts, science and commerce. The exam structure are 6 month intervals. And the course are 3 years that is 1 st year, 2 nd year and 3 rd year. Every final exam after 1 year.

Placement Experience

1

No placement opportunities. No intenship. No stipend. Only you got a certificate after you complete 3 year graduation course. It is very bad for all students. Which need to be changed. Otherwise it is good.

College Events

4

All the event here celebrate. Navin boron to chirsmas all events celebrate here. Every one participate. Also many sport event conducted. College Social programs every year. They gifted every new student.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Little bit expensive but different for every trade. Arts is low cost fee, commerce are medium and science are costy. Lab charges include in science stream. But fee structure are average as per other graduate college.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is very complex to get scholarships. Loan facility is not available. College not offering any loan facilities. Scholarships are available as per high merit. So it is not for everyone. Rarely it got sombody.

Campus Life

4

There are so many extra curriculum activities in college. Table tennis, carrom, chess, football, cricket all games are available. Chemistry lab, zoology lab, botany lab, physics lab available here. And all instruments are available.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are helpful. Senior students helps other students. Alumni network are medium. But college students social network are very strong. It is very good for college junior students. Otherwise it was ok.

Admission

I fill the form. Then merit list comming. There are several times counseling. Then start counseling and select trade. Then i got zoology honours. I admission this college and complete my graduation course.

Faculty

4.5

There are some good and some bad facilities. Canteen are not available. If any one try to get lunch, it is not available. But department facilities is very strong. All instruments are available here.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
