Course Curriculum Overview

5

Our college is highly focused on practicals and industry experience. We used to do practical every day, First year was about theory of car components and how to assemble and dismantle the parts and components. In second year, we had compulsory internships for which I was selected by Hyundai. i was helper technician.

Placement Experience

4

Internship was compulsory in 2 year for 2 months, i was placed in Maruti Suzuki Sai service as a helper technician with 2 of my friends, and in 3rd year we use to work for 1.5 year internship for better knowledge.

College Events

4.5

There were many events celebrated in college like technovation, nisarg, annual day, sports day, tie day, sari day,odd day, in technovation event i participated in robo war with other participants form different colleges, and we stood first in the competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We paid 1 lakh per year in two years of diploma, in HNC and HND we paid 1 lakh 20 thousand per year and in my final year i paid 4.5 lakh as it was University of Wolverhampton.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life was great. Infrastructure is excellent but there's not much to do outside the campus area its just a beach at Dahanu. Extracurricular activities included weekly guest lectures, practical sessions, field visits, etc. College encourages us to participate in intercollegiate competitions

Alumni/Alumna

Yes we have an alumni meet, and we also have alumni committee that look after all the events, and yes they are very helpful and they advice us for internship and placement.

Admission

I was already search for automobile college in Mumbai, and my friends stay in Dahanu so once i visited my friends house, so i saw the college poster in Dahanu, after that i started searching on internet, and i found this college. I took the admission in this college because of no exams.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of our college was very helpful and very experienced, specially bala sir, anish sir, rishi sir, they use to conduct our lectures, and rama sir was our lab in charge and he use to guide us, how to perform in practical, and how to use all the equipment's.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
