Good college for vocational education

Management is slow. Faculties and infrastructure are excellent. I would highly recommend this college.

The course curriculum is highly focused on practicals and industry experience. The first year was about the theory of construction operations and developing English communication. In the second year, we had compulsory internships for which I was selected at Mumbai.

An internship is compulsory in 2nd and 3rd year. I got placed in for my 1.5 years internship. Support provided by college especially Divya ma'am was excellent. For final placements, around 18 companies visited the campus. My interview was conducted at the company location along with 8 others.

In college at Dahanu Campus, we celebrated WOW Wednesday every week where students opened up hospitality lab for outsiders and managed all hotel operations for one day. There are annual events like sports day, annual day, Nisarg.

For 3 years degree, I paid 91,000 per year. The civil uniform cost was extra. Additional travelling costs were nominal as bus facilities are provided by the college.

I didn't opt for a scholarship or education loan.

Campus life was great. Infrastructure is excellent but there's not much to do outside the campus area. Extracurricular activities included weekly guest lectures, practical sessions, field visits, etc. The college encourages us to participate in intercollegiate competitions.

We have an alumni committee that looks after alumni engagement activities such as alumni meet, workshops and seminars for alumni, placement guidance, etc.

After completing my 12th commerce, I had shortlisted 4 civil engineering colleges in Mumbai. After visiting Rustomjee college I saw an understood difference and liked the weightage given to practical learning by them. Hence, I decided to do my degree from RAGC. There was no entrance test for admission.

Faculties are very friendly and helpful especially Momin who have always been motivating us to learn and grow. We really enjoyed practical demonstrations by Gladwin sir. Overall faculties were good and helpful.
