A great place to start education

No negative comments about the college as the college provides a soothing atmosphere for its students to study with great teachers and providing a platform to keep going with their talents and also encouraging seniors.

Botany, also called plant science(s), plant biology or phytology, is the science of plant life and a branch of biology . The course is divided systematically for two years starting with the basics for the students to understand better. Small tests are taken as and when required.

Since this isn't a private college, it doesn't come with the promise of providing placements or job opportunities. As per my knowledge, great grades in the undergraduate course will be helpful for the students for further studies or for applying for any jobs in their respective field.

As all the colleges, this college also celebrates teacher's day, children 's day, Fresher's day as well as departmental freshers. Other than that, national holidays are provided. Important seminars and functions are also held regarding education.

The fees structure is quite affordable provided that the fees should be submitted before the mentioned date. Otherwise, fine has to given accordingly. It would be suggested to give the fees within the estimated time.

As the fees is affordable, there is no scholarship or loan facility available for the students. But still, if loan is required, one can go to their respective banks and apply for loans with a handwritten letter with the permission of the Principal.

There are departmental laboratories which are put into use weekly. There is a canteen which provides healthy food for it students. NCC, Science fair, Arts fair, debate club, quiz club, Satyajit Ray cine club, photography club etc are there.

No, I haven't applied for the hostel facility as my house is very near to my college. As per the information gain, hostel facilities are very good providing clean water for drinking and electricity is available.

The alumni network is very wide. Each department has specialised teachers in their respective fields who make the subject more interesting. Also, at the same time, there are seniors who help their juniors in any kind of help they need.

Admission to any undergraduate course depends on the merit list. So, a pass in 10+2 examination is required along with a pass in the 10th examination. Form is to be downloaded and filled up accordingly and submitted before the mentioned date.

The faculty of the college is very strong, the teachers being very cooperative and understanding. There are various cells for the students - career couselling, Grievance Redressal Cell,Vishaka Cell ( Stop Violence against Women) and Anti-ragging cell.
