Erode Arts College and Science College : Accredited grade "A" by NAAC

I just recently finished my B.Sc. CS from Erode Arts College and Science College. It was really a wonderful experience looking back at college life there, from education to co-curricular activities. The hostel life is also good, and in college, many new things are added and being added for the progress of students and helping them excel in future, one such example is IAS coaching that started recently. It is also accredited with "A" Grade by NAAC.

The Course curriculum is provided by Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. This is because of the fact that the college is affiliated with it, and strictly follows all the guidelines as per Bharathiar University. The professional courses offered here have been approved by the AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education).

The college offers a pretty feasible fee for education, ranging from 1,500 to 3000. This is possible because of it being a government aided college, which is run by the Mudaliar Educational Trust, which made education become this feasible for the students.

College provides full/half fee concession for students who belong to backward classes and whose parent’s annual income does not exceed Rs.15,000 from all sources, further enquiry can be done in college office. Other than that there is no direct scholarship, but if one is eligible for any state or national scholarships, they can apply.

Extracurricular activities are held timely for interested students. Sports is also supported side by side with education by the college, though academics are given higher priority here. Libraries are pretty spacious and well-equipped with proper books and seating arrangement and Labs are well managed and well equipped with good systems to work on.

Admission is Erode Arts College and Science College is quite easy, as all you need to be eligible for admission is that you have passed plus two examinations recognized by Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu.

Faculty of the college is pretty talented and well versed in different teaching methods to keep students curious in their subjects, without getting them bored. They are also quite open to students if anyone is facing difficulties in studying or classes, and gives it their priority too.
