Remarks

The college is among the best colleges in India offering Bachelors course in Mass communication and Journalism. However, the fee is expensive and thus is the major drawback for the students of lower middle class family.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is well defined and similar to other colleges in West Begal. The course consists of research oriented subjects as well , and focuses on application. The college has a number of clubs like Satyajit Ray Movie Club, Tansen Music Club etc.

Placement Experience

The college do provide decent job opportunities and is among the best colleges in India offering courses in Journalism and Mass Communication. There are jobs in Media sector like Print, Electronics etc. and also in Advertising Agencies, Corporate Sectors , Banks etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college expensive at 2,50,000 INR each year making it a whopping 7,50,000 INR for the three year Bachelor Of Art (Honours) in mass communication and journalism. The fee of the course is highest among all the courses offered by the college.

Admission

The college holds an entrance exam and the admission is based on merit basis on the marks obtained in exam. The minimum eligibility for B.A(Honours) is at least 45% aggregate marks and 55% marks in language or vice versa.

The field tricks are done sometimes to make us understand the reality and the course is really good. I love that and the field trip helps us a lot to explain and to learn things that happening around us and foods are provided from the school or sometimes on trips, I'm really happy with my college.
