Remarks

Chairman is money minded very Strict hostel food is not nice i can give 5 out of 10 for college.

Entrance Preview

First of all,I would like to say that I was confused while appearing for entrance exam as I wasn't decided to go with which stream either engineering or medical atlast i came up with a decision to choose engineering so for that I appeared Karnataka Common Entrance Test and in that I got 20322 rank there was a councilling and in that I selected East Point College CSE branch and the reason I selected CSE is that I was craze about programming after getting allotment I was asked to join college before 12th Sept and from there my journey started.

Internships Opportunities

During 3rd Year i got a internship in SAP and there they offered me 5000 p.m as stipend.

Placement Experience

There were not many placement activities as only few of the companies had been to our college like infosys,TCS,Sonata Software,HP,IBM.

College Events

Every Year in the month of march,college organises a fest will be not big as we expect as our chairman is money minded so just i would like to say Fest will be simple.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Hostel is clean the only problem with the hostel was bathrooms they hardly used to clean the bathrooms the fee for annum was 57000 including mess the food was averag we get bored after a couple of days as they lack in providing good taste.

Fees and Financial Aid

I took a eduation loan from Oriental Bank of Commerce which helped me to study for 4 years.

Campus Life

Campus life was awesome the infrastructure and envorniment was just amazing the friends made my college days still more beautiful there were no competitions in our college apart from cricket.

The seniors were friendly they used to help us if we come across any bad situation.

It depends on us the way we take the subjects subjects were little bit tough but can be manageable the faculty helped us in solving our doubts.

AN ABSOLUTELY PAISA VASOOL COLLEGE TO BE IN.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum seems to be a little outdated as we were following the VTU syllabus. But since 2024, our college has become an Autonomous College and since then, most of the outdated syllabuses were replaced with newer, required contents. And we have exams regularly, every month. This helps us alot in preparing for our final exams.

Teaching methods should be change. They should teach from the scratch in every subject. So that students can eadily able to understand the concepts and implementation in real world. The topics they cover in class is not very detailed and facing difficulty by students for understanding.

So after 4 th sem campus placements get started and many companies have visited our college like microsoft,wipro, reliance AI,etc.The average package is 18lakhs, and the highest package is 27 lakhs per year.

Again as it's a new campus a very small batch of students have made it to the final year as of now. It seems that the first batch of students have the highest package of 50lakhs from nvidia, and the cse department is having an average of 14L per annum

Open Spaces giving birth to Creative Minds

It is spread over several acres, hence giving a lot of creative freedom. Love the breathing space in the campus. The infrastructure is excellent.Good library, canteen, medical facilities, cyber cafe, parking facilities.Finally, I would recommend Dayananda

All about East Point from my point of view

I was selected for CMRIT and TJohn college of engineering for same course but finally decided to choose east point due to its reputation accross banglore, Since I'm excellent performer in academics i haven't faced rejection but this college is my personal choice. Management quota requires you to be a 12th passed out, and there is no specific university entrance exam but there is state university entrance exam which is CET through which you get a great fees redemption it's almost quater price of management quota and I'm a CET entry....Read More
