Course Curriculum Overview

4

We have unit tests and a mid-term exam. Apart from that we also have weekly tests which are generally conducted on every Wednesday. The preparatory exams are be conducted thrice to asses the students potential and strengthen it to give successful final exams.

Placement Experience

3.5

We have a placement cell in the college which informs us about various placements that come to college and help us to prepare for that. The college doesn't provide any internship as such but we can apply and get for internships off campus. However we can do internships only in college holiday periods as attendance is a big issue here.

College Events

3.5

Some of the common and basic festivals like holi diwali etc are celebrated in the college. Freshers day is observed in the college. The farewell day is also celebrated here. Other than that no other cultural fests or sports fests are there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is good and affordable. Its Rs 1,44,000 for a total of 3 years. It's very feasible and economical for students who want to pursue law but may not be able to do so because of the expense of the course.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel rooms are kind of okayish. The rooms are not that big and spacious but habitable. There is 2 room sharing, 3 room sharing and 4 room sharing options available. But I would suggest to take a 2 room sharing or 3 room sharing as the rooms are not that big. Mess food is not that good. There's a cafeteria in the campus which provides pretty good food.

Admission

The admission was given on the basis of online counseling which conducted by the University authorized by Government of Punjab. I just applied for the college and had to give a telephonic interview and then was sent the offer letter for the admission.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is okayish. The teachers are not that experienced but they manage to teach well. The teachers are more concerned for 75% attendance than completing the course which is very irritating but the teachers manage to complete the course pretty well before exams.

In our college student become elgible for placement from 9th semester onwards i.e the second last semester. Many law firms and private companies and banks visit our colege like HDFC bank,HCL and many private firms and offers range from 4LPA to 6LPA. The highest package offered in our department was of 21LPA and average package is 3.5-4LPA. About 50-60% students get campus placements and rest opt for private consultation on out of campus interviews for better oppurtunities.
