Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course I am perusing is basically related to commerce and specially in our college, there is a COMMERCE LAB which is designed to provide the better knowledge of the terms used in commercial activities such as in bank (cheques, rtgs, demand drafts, vouchers etc.)

Internships Opportunities

I am actually not aware that if my college provides placement or not. But recently I have heard that our seniors who have passed out this year (2019) have given the preliminary exams and were scrutinised for further group discussions and personal interview. I am not very sure about this.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college has recently started inviting companies for placement. But as I told that I am not very aware about this so I need to know as soon as possible. And I hope that my college provides placement.

It is good but i belive there should be more flexibility and more diverse topics should be taught as i mentioned earlier there should be something related to drama and skit and acting as it enriches the creative side of the students and also it is very necessary for a management student to have a creative skills too.

Elective options are few restricting subject choice. The labour is mostly fake and really updated making it less aligned with the current industry. The highest package of the college is 4 lakh per annum. The average package of the college is nearly about 2.5 Lakh per annum. The lowest package of the college is 1.8 lakh per annnum. Nearly about 50% of the students got placement from the college. After getting the degree, my plan is to pursue the higher studies and do government exams preparation.

Admission:

The admissions are purely based on merit. The eligibility criteria is a student must have passed INTERMEDIATE WITH 40% FOR GENERAL AND OBC, SC/ST -33% MARKS. There is no Interview and the total number of seats intake are 80. The admission process is quite straightforward and lucid. I chose B.com because it provides a broad scope of employment options and job scope for graduates as a large number of B.Com graduates choose to pursue self-employment or land lucrative salary packages in prestigious companies.

Starting off with the negative effects of attending college. Tuition has skyrocketed over the years leaving college students thousands of dollars in debt right out of high school, since many people cannot afford to fully pay their schooling off. Going in that much debt is a huge benefactor of people attending college because many people just cannot afford it.
