I gave PET exam for getting admission in this college, I scored 71% in aggregate . I opted for this particular college as with the score I got in the examination, this one was the best institute for me to take admission as it is the second oldest college of chhatisgarh.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was nice but it was more theoretical than practical. As an Telecom student we had a choice in choosing elective subjects only for non technical subjects like Project Management & Eco Science. We had two projects in our engineering. First one was minor in third year and major project in final year. There was an option that either you can carry on with the advancement of the minor project for Major project or make a new project for major.
Internships Opportunities
No our college have not provided any kind of internshipduring our time . Currently if it provides i am not aware of it.
Placement Experience
Placement are not that much its very less . Only few companies came our time that too were small companies not any MNC. So i cant really tell you about the placements .And the salary offered by those companies was also less and i have not heard of it.
College Events
We mainly celebrated cultural events. Our main fest was RITO Fest celebrated every year. It was a huge function and each and every department of college participates in it whether they are MBA ,Nursing or Pharmacy.Other than than we celebrated Engineers day on 15th sept .
Fees and Financial Aid
Ya scholarship was offered to the poor students in our college and also on the basis of there ranking. But loan facility was not there for any one .
Campus Life
Campus was awesome with good infrastructure. We had facilities of sports nearby in hostel where we can play table tennis, volley ball and cricket etc. There were singing competitions , dance competition and debates time to time in every 6 months. The gender ratio was all most equal.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students were very helpful and they always helped us in every step. We always had very good network with our seniors and we still have it via social sites.
Exam Structure
The exams and labs were there but it was time to time.Usually we had labs everyday but it was fun doing the experiments as we gained some practical knowledge.Exam structure was that we had two class test in 1 semester and those marks were counted in final
Faculty
The faculty was very experienced and talented during my time and was expert in there field. Every faculty was good in there work. Some were more talented and some little less,but over all the quality of education provided was good. The mechanical faculty
