Remarks

I have a neutral feedback about the college, I do like it in some areas however it still lacks in various fields as the people in the campus speak the local language so that somehow creates a major communication barrier for anyone out of the state.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course has been well structured and uniform. The course covers a wide aspect of engineering, and ensures proper learning of the students along with excellent practical skills. To test the skills of the students exams are being conducted on regular basis, there are two set of internal examinations after which falls the End semester exams.

Placement Experience

3.5

The College has a record of decent placements and students who work well are rewarded with good packages in reputed companies. Mnc's like TCS, TECH MAHINDRA, TATA STEEL also place students. The college has also been successful in providing internships to meritorious students however the facilities for internships are still on the verge of improvement.

College Events

3.5

The college conducts an annual event called Vasantika which is undoubtedly, one of the fests to look out for. Various events and sports activities are conducted during the fest which is really impressive. Also from time to time various small scale evnts and seminars are being conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee Structure of the college is very feasible, it has a cheap fee structure of rs 45000 per semester and rs 50000 per annum if you opt for hostel facilities. The facilities being provided are also responsive, proper actions are taken regarding all issues in shortest time possible.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarship in form of fee rebate to meritorious students which is helpful to some extent as the rebate is not more than rs 10000. The college has no loan facility, one has to approach other sectors for loan however the college do provides the necessary documents in reagard to loan sanctioning.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus has a plethora of extra curricular activities built around an area of 167 acres the college packs in various sports facilities, such as a volleyball court, two well maintained basketball courts, tennis court and indoor badminton stadium, gym and a swimming pool. The labs of the college are very well maintained and being looked after well by the lab assistants.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facilities provided are decent, It is neither too good nor that bad. The food of the hostel can be rated as average, however on auspicious occasions the food provided is of good quality. The hostel has a well built infrastructure along with a massive campus of 167 acres. There are separate hostels for boys and girls.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the college is not that remarkable, I have hardly seen any alumni reunion or any other thing in that respect. The seniors of the college are to some extent quite supportive and helpful. Every person differs in their approaches so it is hard to judge a person everytime.

Admission

The College carries out a process of admission in which you can either apply through your OJEE(ODISHA JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM) or JEE MAINS score. One has to apply to the collge through the OJEE counseling, and choose the branch in accordance to your interest. After filling the form you need to wait for three consecutive rounds of counselling and see whether your seat has been confirmed in a single round or not. If your seat has been confirmed you need to report to the reporting centre for verification, after which you need to report directly to the college.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is very support and dynamic. They guide the students properly and review their performance on a regular basis. The interaction with the faculty and students is excellent, they try to figure out the problems and listen to the issues descriptively.

Stduents get eligible from 5th semester for placements peaking at 6th semester of the college. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Tiger Analytics etc came but big pacakge placements offers are low . The highest package was 32 LPA and the average goes to 5-6LPA. The percentage goes to 90 % for placements. After getting degree you can go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
