Remarks
First lets start with positive points, the positive thing in this college is that the students who cleared entrance exam with good marks only get admission here so there is tough academic healthy competition between students. And the negative thing is that teachers for cs and it branch are not sufficient here.
Course Curriculum Overview
I think the course curriculum is good but it can focus more on studying through projectors and smart classes.and here the exam are conducted by csvtu which is a self reputed university.overall the exam structure is well defined
Placement Experience
Here the job opportunities and placement is very average because college dont call much for internship and students from here majorly gets selected from off-campus placement ,a student from this college is also working in isro
College Events
There are lots of events celebrated in my college. here the tech fest named as kaushalam is too good as new invention and creative comes out from students and college also celebrates annual sports day eacj year which is far sp good and there are many such events being organized in college day to days
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible because its a government college and tution fee is totally free for girls and boys of sc st category and students here get lots of scholarship too for obc and general the fees is 18000 per sem
Fees and Financial Aid
As already said there is lot of scholarship for students and it is given according to caste category and gender but the majority of students get scholarship here and the burden of fees become less and overall good
Campus Life
The students take part in lots of university and inter-university games amd sports students take part in various sports like football,cricket, volleyball,kho kho,etc and brings many pride to the college,recently students went to other state to play cricket
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni and senior students are so helpful here,the alumini of government engineering college bilaspur are well settled and working in many senior posts on different companies and IT sector senior students are very helpul as they provide good suggestion
Admission
Firstly,i gave CGPET entrance exam of subject pcm,after that i got 1616 rank all over india and was eligible for taking some branch in every college.After that on pet site i have to choose the college and branch for my future studies.I filled that information and done dvc.After few days the result of college filling came out and i got IT branch on my college i.e.gecb and took admission into it
Faculty
The faculties of the college are excellent as the way they teach is very nice and they are of good helping nature.but the college should lay emphasis on bringing more teachers for cs and IT branch as there is a scarcity of teacher in that branches
