Reflection of TCST

I must say one thing that I like in private colleges that if you get 33% in boards still you can take admission and study with students who got 90% marks and prove yourself in 4 years and get a good job. So it is fulfulling dream of many students who are from humble background.

Since it is engineering so I have to put lot of efforts to meet the course curriculum requirements. In the starting, I struggled a lot and didn't know about programming much so in first year, it was introductory classes to the computer science that made me comfortable with computer programming.

Yes, my college had provided on campus placements but some companies were not core and they just needed students for marketing or back office profile. Although most of the companies were core like CIS, BYJU'S, SSS, Hexaware.

Likewise in every college, my college also hosted Cultural Fest in the month of march every year. It was very big event, in that there were many cultural programs, sports activities, technical events ultimately provide platform to students who want to show their skills and talent in which they are interested apart from academics.

Fee structure is feasible or I can say it is based on the students financial background. If anyone is financially weak he/she can choose 2nd college which has feasible fee comparatively to the 1st. I can talk about myself, I have paid Rs. 60,000 per year as a tuition fee.

Actually there is a scholarship program for the students who have scored very good in JEE and board exam and the name of the program was TFW(Tution fee waiver), under this some fee amounts has been deducted and one more scholarship program was Vice Chancellor's Scholarship which is provided to the students who came in the merit list of semester exams.

In this section, I must say that there was a lot of diversity in my college. As my college is located in Bhopal so it was mix of religions like Muslim and Hindi are in majority and we all studied with dignity and brotherhood. There was no discrimination on the basis of religion, caste and Creed. As I'm Hindu many of my friends was Muslim like Shahil, Alveera, Aliya. They helped me alot and I also. Talking about gender ratio, it was veey healthy in Computer science department but it was very bad in mechanical and civil department.

I have opted for shared PG. I am sharing single room with 2 other fellows. Food has been provided in PG, infrastructure is okay, amd also environment is conducive for studies. I was paying Rs. 7000 monthly (food+accommodation).

Actually I was shy fellow soI hesitated to interact with seniors but I known few and ask them of career like should I go for m.tech or grab a job and they were very helpful and showed me right path.

I have appeared in JEE exam in the year 2015 with 12 class after that I sit in counseling and put Truba group of institutes in my priority and later received call from college for the interview and appeared in college level counseling and finally got the admission

As it was a private college so facilities were not that qualified to teach the real problems based on CS subjects. Although my HOD was experienced and published some useful papers so he helped me to overcome my issues related to subject matter experts.
