IET DAVV Review

It is not that good in terms of regular classes and faculty teachings. But placements are increasing every year. So it is good for job opportunities and getting a good package. One must apply for this college if he/she is interested in IT sector jobs.

Course Curriculum is mostly theoritical which is not appropriate according to me. Exam structure is well maintained and divided into three Mid Semester Tests and Final Semester Exam with subjectwise Vivas.

Placements and Job opportunities are good in my college specially for IT sector with good average package. But my college do not provide any internship or training programme. Interships are to be searched by self. But this year Mechanical faculties comes with some type of internship (I don't know much about it).

Our college is 10/10 if we talk about events and celebrations. Social Life is good. Starting with Induction Programme for new admissions. Welcome Party for whole 1st year organized by 2nd year students. Engineers' Day Celebration is like small cultural event. Sports events every Semester. Freshers Party for 1st year students by 2nd year students branchwise. Technical Event (Invento) which is to show engineers' real technical talent. Annual Cultural Event (Aakshank) which is to show are strength.

Fee Structure is average like other Engineering colleges. I can't say about feasibility as it is feasible for some while expensive for others. It is ofcourse a Semi- Government Self Funded college so fees structure is around 70,000 to 1,00,000.

I do not avail any scholarship facility. Even there is no such scholarship offered by college itself. But some scholarship is provided by Government. I do not know much details as I'm not a part of it.

Labs and Practical knowledge is not good. Labs are old fashioned and are not well maintained in terms of technology. There in no such Sports facility or ground provided by college itself. For sports activity one have to go to University Campus grounds.

Yes I have been opted for Hostel. Since it is an old college so Hostel infrastructure and facilities are not so good but what I can say is Hostel Life is best in terms of contacts and emergency facility.

Alumni Network was not so good before the establishment of Alumni Cell. It'll be good for sure in some years. Connection to seniors is easy for Hostelers as they know each other personally. Yes ofcourse seniors are helpful if you're connected to them.

By applying online counseling at MpOnline on the basis of JEE Mains marks. Then I visited the college for further registeration and document verification. After submitting all my documents and corresponding fees I got the Admission.

Faculty is good in terms of knowledge and experience but they are old fashioned and most of them focuses on theoritical knowledge. They are more book and limited syllabus oriented, what matters to them is good marks.
