Majlis college

My college is one of the best college under Calicut University.2200+ students are studying in my college for degree.The physical structure,atmosphere and ambience of the college is very fascinating and very nice.

The course curriculum is fine,but not too good.There are 5 or 6 subjects in each semester(either 5 or 6,according to courses).The exams are conducted after completing each semesters.There are 6 semester exam to be completed within 3 years of UG(degree).

The college itself doesn't provide any jobs.But there will be campus recruitment in every year.Many reputed organisations will reach college and conduct interviews with suitable candidates and select the best among all candidates and appoint the selected students for the job after completing the graduation

Many programmes are conducting day by day in our college under college union,NSS and different departments.we have conducted too many programmes this year too.we have conducted Mehendi fest in connection with the eid under college union,Gandhi jayanti day poster presentation,Onam celebration,college union inauguration and cultural programmes and so on.

The fee structure is feasible I think.There are 16 courses in our college.Most of the Courses having fee of 9000/- in each semester except 2 departments BMMC and BSC.Microbiology,the fee for this courses is ranging 18000-18500 in each sem.

There is scholarship for students having poor financial background.Such students can apply for the scholarship and the management will make a study on the details given in the scholarship forum and avail scholarship for needy students.

We have physics, chemistry, microbiology and computer labs in our college.And the college is very supportive for extra curricular activities like arts and sports.College have different types of clubs for improving the abilities of talented students.Also there is football,cricket, volleyball and badminton team under sports club.

No,I have opted day to day transportation from home to college and college to home because my college is just 20 kilometres away from my home and I can manage this distance by travelling in bike daily.

Yes.there is alumni network under our college but the alumni network is not much active because of lack of proper leadership I think.And the senior students are very supportive except some students whom usually mess with students with arguments and fights

I have completed my 12th and applied for the course BBA in Majlis arts and science College puramannur affiliated by Calicut University.There is allotment process in selecting students to the college on the basis of mark.its a self financing college,so management seats are also available for students.

The faculty and activities are somewhat good in my college while comparing to other colleges nearby.College is providing scholarships for students having poor financial background.NSS and other programmes are there for the betterment of students and so on.
