College fees are very high because of AUTONOMOUS COLLEGE. Expect thing this college is a preferred by all because of it's facilities and learning process. It's a top rated college in West Bengal. Many awards are gone to this College from Government.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college offers MA and M.Sc at the PG level. Applicants should have done graduation in the relevant discipline along with the concerned subject. Of the total seats, admission to 60% seats (subject wise) is on the basis of the merit of the candidate in the final B.A. Honors/ B.Sc. Honors Examination of Vidyasagar University. A merit list will be prepared from among the applicants.For admission to rest 40% seats, 50% preference is given to the candidates’ performance in the Entrance Examination conducted by the college and 50% preference to the candidates’ performance in BA Honors/ B.Sc. Honors Examination. A separate merit list will also be prepared for these seats.
Placement Experience
Yes, Very good.Although it's a general degree college there are some placement opportunities come here every year. That's not really a problem. But the college should concentrate more on giving internship to the PG students especially.

Being a government institute The fee structure is very low.a small amount of money are taken by the college for a single accademi year. There have many scholarship for BPL and poor meritorious students of instituitions.

Yes there is various scholarship programs for poor and meritorious students of the institute. No there is bo loan ffacility for the students.but few candidates got the loan from private bank of the district by the recommendation of principal.
Campus Life
The laboratory are very good all sufficient instruments and chemicals are in there. There are a central library in the college which is full of books and journals. sports facilities are not so much good.
Hostel Facilities
Yes. There have two hostels for the boys and girls.The hostels buildings are well decorated and furnished. The food quality is very good and heakathy which call the power mill.Every student supply singale bed and fan.
Alumni/Alumna
The college infrastructure is really good. EDUCATION system is good but there is no any good canteen for students.the boys common room is not sufficient. there is no any indoor games for student. bad wifi system. some rules of college heart me.
Faculty
The class section for my subject was devided in two sections morning and day. morning section starts from 7 a.m and end at 1p.m the day section starts at 10a.m and ends at 5p.m.The faculty members of my subject was very good the professors are very friendly and very helpful.the lab assistants are also helpful during our practical.
