Law: the emerging source of justice

The positive remark is that college is very kind and helpful towards its students. And the only negative remark is the infrastructure of the college. The infrastructure of the college is very bad and conjusted. There are very limited no. Of classes and the college has a huge amount of students. Every course has almost 180 students which makes it difficult to comduct a college at the same time.

My course covers almost every topic related to law and society such as economics, political science, sociology, IPC, CPC, CrPC, evidence act, constituitional law, contract act, interpretation of statutes, jurisprudence etc. We have semester exams which is held in the month of November and april respectively. 60 no. Of externals and 40 no. Of externals.

There is no 100% placements. But 60-70% are placed in nice legal firms with good packages. Every year no. Of companies comes to our college to recruit the students. Last year the highest package was of 12 lakhs and the minimum of 4 lakhs.

There are no. of events held every year in our college. Our college also host the international moot court competition P.N Bhagwati. And we also celebrate etnic day, college fest, allumni meet, teachers day, drama day, freshers and farewell, surana and surana national moot court competition.

The fees structure is feasible. The college have different fees structure for aided and unaided sections. The fees of ballb course aided section is 35k per year and the fees of unaided section is 75k per year. The fees of bballb is 75k, there is no aided and unaided section in this course.

No. There is no such scholarship offered by our college. Loan facility might be provided to some students but not to every student. The loan facility can only be availed by the students who are of background to pay it back easily. Although i don't have much knowledge about it. As per my information only loan facility is available in our college.

Extracurricular activities includes almost every kind of sports such as football, cricket, basketball, kho kho, volleyball, etc. We do have a brilliant drama team who have won no. Of prizes for our college. We do have a table tennis duo who have won no. Of titles for the college.

I haven't opted for hostel. But i do know about the hostels infrastructure and facilities. Hostel infrastructure amd facilities is not to good, no of beds in a hostel is very less and there is a sharing of 4 bed in a room which is very conjusted, and there are no options available for single or double occupancy. The mess of the hostel is also very bad.

Yes, i do have contacts with the seniors and alumni of the college. They are very helpful. There is not a single senior who is involved in ragging of the freshers. They are very helpful in almost every aspect.

I got admission through entrance examination. My all India rank in Bvpcet entrance examination is 38. I have been alloted seats of aided section for the course of ballb. The fees of aided section is 35k and fees of unaided section is 75k. When i cleared my entrance exam i have been called out for counselling in Delhi, where 180 students were called. The admission was given according to the merit of the student. We have to submit the Tc and Migration of our respected schools and hap certificate if there is a year gap after 12th. After the submission of the documents. I have got admitted in the college. Now I'm in 4th year and I'm very much satisfied with the faculties and the dean of our college.

The faculties are very good and prudent. They have a deep knowledge about their respective subjects. Some faculties are hard to deal with for which the student assosiation has complained to the dean, then dean takes immediate action towards it.
