Remarks

Positive _ Good staff, infrastructure workshop, laboratory, hostel, fees structure and seniors, sports activities. Negative _ need to focus in all couses. Have to increase security and parking wolud be free.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are many faculty and wide range of courses. The exam structure is supporting student and easy for student. There are 2 Class test series and assignment and Daily home assignments for each subject in a semester. All test series comes in internals. A 50 number external held in semester last.

Placement Experience

The placement are good for some course if u are studied in mechanical branch there are chances to get a job in a reputed company at a good package. For other streams the placement are good but you have to fight a good competition.

1.open day or founder day (31 January's ) The big event is known as open day or founder day. This is celebrated in whole campus. There are many activities are held in different different faculty like science exhibitions, sports, games and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is a advantage for the students the fees for courses is minimal and low as possible. For diploma courses you have to paid approx six thousand rupees per semester. This is a good point for student. Overall fees is feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

The state's scholarships give to all student buy you have to apply for this. I think there are no loan facility because the fees is minimal and low as possible. So on hustle for fees and other expensive.

Campus Life

For students which is interested in sports they have a good chance and platform to show their talent. Approximately all sports facilities are available. Workshop and labs are fully equipped and all time open for student.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are available for studends at affordable rates. There are tow hostel junior boys hostel and senior boys hostel. For girls there are different hostel which is situated near campus. Junior boys hostel situated in campus and infrastructure is good or average. For food there is a mess but food quality is not so good.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior are good and helpful in all ways. All study material are easily available in form of notes and you will be easily get any information regarding anything which is realted to college by the seniors. Alumni help to get placed.

Admission

Firstly fill the form choose desire course and faculty and submit the form. Whole process is online and simple to apply. Then Exam date is come exam is in offline mode and different exam paper for diffrent courses. If u clear the exam then you have to face the interview. Interview is taken by faculty professor and staff. After exam the result will be displayed in college website.

Faculty

Faculty is good and supportive for students. There are many labs and workshops for the students and good staff in faculty. In diploma courses there are many workshops like welding, smithi, carpentry and many more.

Placement Experience:

In the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited on the campus are Maruti, Tata, Mahindra, TVs, Toyota & 2 offers made. The highest and average package as per company is 35,000 to 45,000 per month. 60% of students getting placements. I Plans after getting the degree is job.

Our study is important but the most important thing is the placement, which makes your career better. Our college has campus placement and many companies visit and hire our students. In many branches, not all the students get the placement but the students who are toppers and who are good in their study get the placement. I also dream to get a placement so that I can get a job quickly after my diploma. For that, I am really working hard and improving my skills, knowledge, and my scores. Tata Motors, Layam Group, Myntra, Bajaj, and other companies come to our college for the placement. In the final year of our course, this opportunity comes to us and we are very much awaited for that.

Best engineering college for BTech and polytechnic. Architecture department are also in our college. Labs, laboratories, libraries. Buses with camera. Girl hostels.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, our senior get a job in many respected companies. About 70 to 80% of students placed in every year. About 40 students placed in Mechanical in core companies in this. Covid time by virtual placement drive. And minimum package for diploma student is 2.5 LPA to 5lpa.

Many companies visited our campus. Every year more than 90 percent of students placed in companies like Shalimar,eldeco, BCC, etc. The percentage should not below 60 percent for participate in interviews. Minimum salary package for freshers of diploma engineering hired 3.5 lakhs per annum. I am planning to go for the government junior engineers exam after completing my diploma

BEST GOVT. POLYTECHNIC IN UP

Remarks:

Positives Beautiful Campus : This might seem irrelevant to some, but the natural beauty is what comes to your rescue when you feel you have hit rock-bottom. Single Rooms : People have different opinions about this, but I have come to respect this particular facility at our campus. Location of campus (away from city) : This is a very subjective issue, but I think that the location of campus (distance from city) leaves us lesser distractions. Negatives :- Weak Alumni Base : Although it is definitely possible to achieve any goal in life without assistance from alumni, but their experience can definitely make the journey simpler for many. However, lately, many alumni of IIT Guwahati are connecting back with the student community and I am grateful to them for taking out their time for interacting with us. Single Rooms : Yes, I covered this in positives as well, but I think I must point out the cons of this facility. Students, especially in the first year, might feel lonely and find it hard to interact with others. A shared room provides you with one or more readily accessible friends whose privacy you can breach without asking, from day one. Mess : However the Mess System is undergoing a lot of changes, this is one aspect that has a lot of scope for improvement.

The college is in my hometown so close to family and friends. No moving out having the comfort of living with family. Apart from this good syllabus structure. I was getting to learn so much more here than in other colleges. The reason i came back from college in Shimla, it was purely due to homesickness.
