Remarks
Nice campus but only the problem in rainy season because as it is hill station here the quantity of rain is much more than other cities. But education is best. Because of well educated faculty, it is easy to learn and we can get more knowledge about that particular subject.
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually Course Curriculum is little bit vast but its ok for engineering students. Its makes us strong for hard work. There is one insem examination of 30 marks in which we have to score 12 marks for passing and at end of sem,there is endsem examination of 70 marks out of which 28 Marks are necessary for passing. Total out of 100 marls, 40 are needed for passing the particular subject.
Placement Experience
Our College arranges a campus interview for a different companies for a different branches. Then the respective company take the interview of students and then they select the students. Our campus currently not providing any internship.
College Events
Surbhi(Gathering) Techtonic (Various events, workshop included) Flashmob Dandiya Night DJ night Lokjagar(NSS event) Our cultural department organizes Most of this event. In Techtonic the innovative ideas of students are appreciated. In surbhi , student can show their talent of dance, anchoring, acting,etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure of our College is different according to a Cast category, for some cast its too feasible and for some its too much expensive. For open category its almost around one lakh for a current academic year. And for other categories its ranges from 2500 to 60000
Fees and Financial Aid
government of Maharashtra provides a scholarship of various cast Students. Castwise the benefit of this scholarship is different. Student gets the scolership amount directly into their account. Our College scolership section is too much aware about student's scolership.
Campus Life
Our college has a separate labs for separate departments including HT,TD,RAC labs for mechanical Engineering, Computer labs for Computer and IT departments. Our college has a big sports complex and also a different grounds for different sports. It includes football ground, cricket ground. indoor games like table tennis,carrom,chess are also available. A swimming pool also available in campus.
Hostel Facilities
In our campus almost all students prefer hostel. Because the environment in our campus is awesome. Our hostel charges 50000 for one year which includes mess. In one room there 4 students can stay. Every room have a separate toilet and bathroom.
Alumni/Alumna
In the campus of sinhgad Institute of Technology Lonavala, Ragging is strictly prohibited. There is big fine if anyone found. Here senior students treat their juniors very friendly and kindly. They also helps if any junior is in difficulty or in any problem.
Admission
First I fill the form of DTE Maharashtra. There are 3 rounds in which I got this college in 1st round through category on the basis of CET marks. Once I got this college then I reported to institute and confirmed my admission.
Faculty
Our College faculty is well educated. Some teachers holds a Phd. Degree and some are pursuing it. And others are post graduate. They treat students with a care. Amazing faculty. Actually I didn't saw a faculty like this before.
