Allahabad university common exam for MSc(CS). I have scored 227 out of 300.

Course Curriculum Overview

All subjective type questions based on BSc mathematics and physics. Everything was from the things which you have already learnt in BSc. You have to select the subjects during registration form fillup. And on the basis of that you will be getting the paper.

Internships Opportunities

I have not done any as it was mandatory only for B.E guys. I have opted out and did programming language course which helped me. However, you may choose for internship and will be fully supported by professors.

Placement Experience

Mosty placement are offered for B.E students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In 2010, fee for Msc was 12000 per year, i dont think there can be any other college which can offer the course at such cheap rate.all because its under central university. However examination fee is separate.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. Up government scholarship. You will find many scholarships options on the basis of your caste and the family income. But all this is provided by state government.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

The rate of my branch was quite high because I am in CSE AIML and future is totally depends on it that's why i select this branch. eligibility was student should be passed in intermiediate examination and he/she should pass joint entrance exam(jee main) with rank around between 40k-100k for general candidate. application form of jee main is available on official site of jee main. yes,there are reservation benefits for the reserved category.they can easily get the hostel accomodation .and fee waiver is also there for reserved category. admission process takes too much of time . like my admission process delays for more than two weeks ....Read More
