This college is a work in progress. If you are hardworking, you will shine here. As academic is not very rigorous, you get ample time to shine in other extra curricular activities which is of paramount importance to any law student.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is relaxed and properly balanced. Exam is divided into internal and end semester exam. 15 marks is there for internal assessments, 15 marks for class participation, discipline and attendance, 10 marks for project and 10 marks for Viva/presentation
Placement Experience
Our college has decent placement which is managed by our own placement cell. The scene is improving every year. ICICI bank pays 16 LPA. Many deserving student gets placed on their own. As of now there is no internships cell but as we have the prestigious National law university tag, getting good internships is not a big deal. However paying internships you get from 3rd year where stipend is 8000-25000 per month
College Events
NAALAM is the flagship arbitration competition of NUALS. we also host various parliament debate competition and a model United nations competition in our college. We celebrate every festival in India on our campus as we have people from each and every single state.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For a 5 year law programme, you have to pay 13 lakh, which is a bit expensive but easy education loan is available. Many bank will be ready to give you education loan in good terms and less interest rate as it is a premier institute.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship facilities is available for people coming from reserved quota. No scholarship is their for the general category people. However as I mentioned, if you are not economically strong, you can easily get decent bank loan.
Campus Life
We have great sports facilities. We have a proper football field, a basketball court and a badminton court. We also have a sports gym and a well furnished music room and a gaming room where you can play table tennis and carrom.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is good. You get triple sharing room in 1st 3 year then twin sharing room. You will get a cupboard and almairah in your room. Each floor of the hostel has an water cooler, purifiers and fridge. You get attached bathroom in every room.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni of our college is practicing in every high court and also in supreme court. A lot of law firm has associate who are nuals graduate. The seniors are actually our 2nd teacher. They will be available in any point to help you with your doubts and queries.
Admission
I got admission through the Common law admission test or CLAT. The exam is divided in 5 component. English which carries 40 marks, General knowledge and current affairs which carries 50 marks, Maths which carries 20 marks, legal aptitude which carries 50 marks, logical reasoning which carries 40 marks. It's a 200 marks exam in mcq pattern
Faculty
Faculty is very competent and some of the best in their respective fields. Most are doctorate and has several research paper published in their name. They are available any time to solve your doubts. They have a proper blend of young blood and expertise.
